This clip is brill. It means something to me as my dad was the drummer for the warriors in the very early 60's. He like this chap was a left handed drummer. They played together atround the country for a while, then dad moved on. We have a copy of a programme from when he played at the Imperial Ballroom in Nelson, Lancashire on a revolving stage. Happy memories and its nice to see real footage. I imagine this is rare. Thanks for loading it. It made my dad smile, bringing back memories...Thanks
Wow,Ian Wallace on drums.He went on to play with,Bob Dylan,Steve Marriot,Stevie Nicks,Don Henley,King Crimson and many more.That's the youngest I've seen him.Great clip.
As a young boy 9 years old I queued outside Marys Music Shop in Accrington just to get their autographs long since lost, one policeman on duty and not much of a queue, but at the time my heros non the less
Actually this is kind of edgy for 1964-interracial flirting?

a far cry from "Olias of Sunhillow"....
I don't understand the lineup -- they had a lead singer and Jon was the solo backup singer?

Whatever happened to Tony Anderson?
schutzenhaus 1 year ago
@schutzenhaus He went on to sing with Los Bravos, of "Black is Black" fame. After that he became a clergyman.

@crawfordderhounds He's now retired, but still singing. He's in a small band on the Isle of Wight called the 'STOP' music factory.

How did Anderson make the leap from this to "Awaken?" Life is weirder than we can imagine.
