The Witch who came from the sea looks genuine. You'll have to hold the actual tape right up in front of the camera in order to give a definitive answer.
warewolf and the yeti is fake, the film was released by cannon in october 1982 added to the dpp39s august 1984. either a fake or an import but defo not the uk version. i collect vhs films any queries you may have i can help as i can compare them to my collection for you i have over 2500 vhs to compare any you may have. mayorip@aol.co.uk if you want to sell any of your vhs let me know. i pay good money if it's the real thing, let me know thanks.
To be honest mate, it's very hard to tell just by looking (YouTube's low resolution doesn't help matters).
I used to collect/ pre-certs in the early 90s and certain 'collectors' used to unscrew original tapes and put in the innards of copied tapes, thereby keeping the original tape to make bootleg copies of to sell on.
Best way is to WATCH it, even a very old, worn, crackly original tape will have a certain sharpness to it - a copy will be blurrier and have more colour bleed than the original.
I got 1 vhs tape this week which is a cheesy 70's one called Blood Freak. I now have a total of 269 vhs movies with 205 being horror. I have 1,341 dvds with 1,099 being horror
