well, if you take it from Benny's side, he's afraid that Joon will only get hurt more because he truly thinks that she's mentally sick and doesn't want her to put more stress upon herself. And if you also think about it, Benny might think that Sam only used Joon for physical reasons and doesn't want Joon to be scarred from it.
