  • A "top" song that like Selling The Drama, I Alone and Lightning Crashes could have been a huge hit!

  • Greatest rock album of the '90s.

  • Wow! People seem to think this song is about being a Nazi or something. It's more like a metaphor than anything else.

The lyrics are very vague. It's more like he talks about the German people in general. "I've worshiped myself in you forever--- Until NOW!!!" or could use Hitler as an example, could be talking about world leaders. People take Lyrics WAY to Literal.

  • this whole freaking album is AWESOME!

  • Thanks Much! :) ;)

  • This song fucken rules !!

  • Was this song ever on the radio? Because I could have sworn when I was young, I heard the chorus to this song on the radio before.

  • *Sees Top Link*

Looks like Neo Nazi's love Live too.

  • @thatonedude675 Looks like everybody can like "Live"...even the Neo nazi's

  • fuck yeah. Jamie ham rulz!!!

  • Troppo bella

  • Bring me LOVE not leaders!

  • The story behind this song is supposidly Ed Kowalczyk was a neo\nazi at the end of his high school days and early 20's. He wrote this song after he left that life. There was an interview done when the album started to get attention where he talked about it. It is deep for sure.

  • @Vikinglord1967

Do you know where this interview might be found. I've tried a google search and nothing seems to come up about Ed's 'nazi' past. Not saying you're wrong or anything, the lyrics fit that theme like a glove

  • One of the best rock albums of the 90's. Up there with any Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, or Soundgarden entry.

  • amazing album from the 90s. A gem

  • great music. this is the first cd album of LIVE that i own and that was years ago. it still amazes me to listen to their music..feels like listening to your own soul.. deep, profound , melodious, anguished at times but always, always enlightening.. that's Live for me..

  • this song really helped me in 10th grade. Kept me going all night.

  • timeless album

  • Possibly my favorite of this album, i wasnt a fan of the guitar in the verse but its down right beautiful in the chorus, and the vocals and drums always have me putting this song in loop, all in all a GREAT album

  • This is not 'one of the best albums of the 90s' - it's Ok, it's not bad, it's half-decent.... but that's it.

    Hope that helps :D :D
