Makes me think of Galipoly. That film just about made me really cry, and I don't generally cry at films. It was worse knowing it really happened, though. People say that that was when Australia lost it's innocence.

I first touched the salty water of the Medateranian at Anzac beach... So many lives gone, the british empire gained nothing, and nearly every turk family suffered at least one or more member dead.

At this battle, Ataturk was saved by his pocket watch, which caught a bullet. Only a few miles south lies the old city of troy. persian armies numbering in the millions marched by there, on their way to greece.

Nice video, I have an idea of what this is all like. My whole family has been in every American war I can think of. My father and uncle were in Vietnam, their father was in World War 2 and my cousins were in the Iraq war (finally got home) It's amazing what people can go through and come out of that's why despite if we agree with or not why troops are anywhere we should support them because they're supporting us everyday.
