  • @servingthealiens : You need your head examined. My daughter has Angelman syndrome and if you ever said that around me, someone or some machine would be would be keeping you alive afterward.

And to the paternalistic people who are subtly trying to ask if he is taken care of and has a helmet (like she hasn't thought of that already), lighten up. She is right there. Don't be so judgmental; it is hard taking care of someone with Angelman.

  • I've never heard of Angelman Syndrome.

  • ny daughter is 5 w/ AS and she has similar episodes like that. i told the dr, that i thought it was a seizure but i wasn't sure cuz it happend so fast. like Kiano. wow i never knew they could b so fast. it makes me so sad that there is nothing that i can do to help her. I LOVE her SOO much n i'm feel so blessed that she has the "happy syndrome" cuz it could had been much worse... WE are so blessed to have these angels in our lives =)

  • Hi my brother have Angelman Syndrome too. You can be lucky that Kiano outgrows the seizures, my brother did. It is hard having a handicapped family member, but one off my joys is that handicapped with Angelman Syndrome are always so HAPPY! It is so rare that they cry :o) Kiano is very cute XD

  • wow every time he had a seizure his head hit something soft! lucky!

  • he is so adorable

  • "OH SHOOT" XD

  • My little boy Noah has AS he is having lots of drop seizures at the moment which we are in the early stages of controlling. Kiano reminds me so much of Noah. Thankyou for sharing.

  • hugz n prayerz. hang in there Kiano . i have seizures too ( complex partial seizures )

  • poor Kiano. My son was experiencing a lot of drop attacks with topamax. so he was put on clonapin and lamictal. He has only had a handfull of seizures in a whole year. Well, the best of luck to you on what will work for Kiano.

  • annoying ticking sound!

  • lol. Thank you RatPack

  • This boy is ridiculously adorable.

  • If you haven't had a chance to get any real help from Keppra, try mentioning Topamax to your dr. My daughter has had SEVERE drop seizures (much like what you see with your son in this video), and Keppra didn't do a thing for her. Topamax, Depakote and Clonapin have helped the absolute most with her seizures.

  • Thank you so much for posting this. My son has AS as well and as far as we know, no known seizures, but now I have an idea what to look for. Thank you...All our best wishes for Kiano.

  • I Love that he happened to fall on something soft everytime. Bless his little heart.

  • He needs to wear a helmet.
