Overall a pretty cool effect, one of the best I've seen yet, but I would definitely work more on the mushroom itself. For one, it's much too dark; realistically it would be brown (from the dirt/soil) to almost white, depending on conditions. I would also say the stem's too straight and the dynamics of the mushroom seem off (the cap is way too swirly compared to everything else, for example).

@eventfularse False claim is the title. He named the video nucblast only to get more views. I have mentioned most pronounced effects of the blast that are NOT present in classic explosion. You can find them listed in wikipedia and in any real nucblast footage. All the differences between classic explosion and nuclear explosion have bin completely misunderstood or marginalised by the maker. What we see is what you see during any ammo dump explosion in Iraq, magnitude by 1-5.

@krbosak actually the shockwave of a hydrogen or atomic bomb travels just around about 560 KM/H, besides that white mist was NOT the complete shockwave it was the sound lifting up the water vapours from the water and smashing the molecules of liquid (H2O) & gas (Oxygen) together to make a white mist.

Don't need to be over water to get the white mist. The velocity of the shockwave can, through air, also reach well over a thousand km/h. Seismic effects travel much faster, however, but aren't nearly as destructive (lest you bury the nuke..).
