  • HUNG

  • Oh, the beauty of watching a top class player resort to the use of throws to win fights.

Respect to Hung Bee, always using the lesser rated characters.

Ricky Ortiz, a brilliant player- still a top tier whore though.

  • stupid forward + strong cost hung the match

  • 3:35 marks the best oro juggle stun finisher there has ever been.

  • Woah, we nearly had a Daigo repeat there...

  • Advantage doesn't say much, we shouldn't bother discussing that. If you're worried about adv. then pick a high-advantage character. Obviously, Oro has enough juggling potential as HIS advantage for good damage. top players can beat a powerful chun li, so it's not about advantage. Ricky obviously plays in this match, excellent positioning and placement/movement, and great mindgames. I don't care how cheap chun li is, you gotta have a brain to use it right, and Ricky came out the better brain here

  • furthermore, as you can see, oro trying to chun li into an one of his broken (advantageous) juggles, ricky had the better brains to win the match and NOT get consistently juggled to death. On the other angle, Oro was getting out-mindgamed. It's not about caracter advantage. Too bad you fall for sh*t and get hit and thrown to death. That's just because the opponent outwitted you. So enough of the haters on Ricky. Ya'll just love to hate on Ricky. He'd mop the floors with your ass-talking mouths

  • hahaha you faggot, complaining about oro's "broken juggles" and in the same breath talking about using chun li because it was advantageous

  • It is so easy to combo with ChunLi since a lot of moves can link into super. For Oro, there is only 1 move: MP (and jump something into MP). In short, Hung focused mainly on pulling that deadly combo, while Ricky focused on the game over combo by using a simple character. Because Oro combo is not as ez as ChunLi, Hung could and did make some mistakes here and there, while Ricky had a much easier time. The fact that ChunLi is top tier didn't help a bit either.

    5/5 for Hung effort.

  • nerds!!!

  • Fair play to hung bee for doing so well with oro, however sometimes he makes such bad desicions. Like using the same jump in mixup over again. Although ricky did get hit by it ;)

  • Other than that incredible juggle combo he did have much did he?.Kinda sad.But still fun to watch.

  • Damn Oro has trouble building meter vs Chun.

If his SA had a bar the length the Yun's Oro might just be top tier.

  • oro would be... god tier

  • that did WAY TOO much damage kinda hard to setup i guess though

  • I love the Oro combo.

  • lmao @ those Oro comboes.

it's so fuckin' stupid that he can do that much damage, lol. LOVE it.

  • Great play by both players. I've had the honor of playing both people and I have to say that they are both great players.

  • nice fight !!

  • That Chun Lee fucking grab annoy me

  • You completely misinterpreted what he said. He's not saying that Ortiz has no skill or that he's just some scrub who picked up a top tier char and thought he was good, but in this case Hung was clearly the better player and only lost because of the disadvantage, however seemingly small, of using a lower tier char against one of the most broken chars in 3s.

Seriously, watch the match. Ricky played slightly decent for someone of his caliber. Hung Bee on the other hand, was unbelievably raw.

  • this comment was aimed at the guy defending Ricky against someone who said "this is the perfect example of skill vs tier", btw

  • whoever wins is better, no one forced him to pick oro

  • Not at all. A win doesn't make you the better player in the least.

Ricky has skill for sure, but just not like Hung, especially seeing how simplistic Chun's combos are.

People shouldn't be forced to play outside the box, sure. But don't expect to get props when you beat lower tier characters with Chun/Yun/Ken cookie-cutter combo garbage.

  • but doing well and still using with a low tier character makes u pro rite. and ricky does better in tournaments overall too. guess its just cuz he just uses high tier characters.

  • Keep in mind, Ricky missed so many slick opportunities to turn his back-fierce into a super and he didn't. Hung not only pulled off his combos, but he did it with STYLE. Thats why he was getting so much more respect during the match. Whats the best thing Ricky did? 6 kara throws in a row? Not very stylish.

  • Using simplistic combos makes a player less skilled? The skill is not executing the combo, but being able to land it.

  • ADDITON: able to get someone INTO a combo consistently or enough to win the match.

  • people who cry about people using chun li get some balls its competition and you play to win first then fun comes second as pyrolee demonstates on ricky in another clip

and i would also dis people who use ken but its their choice

  • Those oro combo were beastly...Too bad he lost...

  • haha at 6:36 "me so sleepy!"

  • do think Ricky was thinking during that 3rd match: "I will not pull a JWong and just launch my super just because my opponent has little health."

  • That's what happens when you pick a bad character.

Good player + bad character < decent player + good character

  • Hung Bee have had it if he didn't choke on the combo. :(

  • Yeah, too bad ^^

    Great match anyway...

  • You are saying as if it is easy to pull those gimmicks off. Maybe if you are not use to middle tier match-ups. I guess that is the tradeoff for using characters out of the orthodox.

  • You're gonna knock on someone who's fighting a top tier whore who deals out damage at an insane level? get your priorities straight.

  • Oro hasto landa mp justto start the combo and considering its high or low for block thats not easy. The only reason Hung got the combos most of the time was because chun was in a punishment situation. Unlike chun he cant just zone out with low forwards and confirm 4 a half life combo plus reset.

  • fuckin chun li skills............always the same

  • Havent these fights already been uploaded here before?

  • a perfect example of skill vs character tiers.

    yay for broken.

  • If you think Ricky only wins because he uses a high tier character, I'd like to see you explain how he consistently places in the top 8 at Evo for several games when plenty of other people who use top tier characters can't even dream of doing that.

  • we need more hungbee videos

  • wow hung bee should have won damn great match though

  • People who rely on Chun Li are a joke.

  • I like Ricky in Ricky vs you in 3s for 5000 bucks. You down?

  • i bet all chun li players would suck a dick for a pathetic win u down?

  • i bet gay jokes are old and stupid. Also, when money is on the line, when you are playing like its your job, i bet i won't see you picking Q just for kicks.

  • well-said.

  • I was sad for Oro when he failed to fully Parry Chun Li's special therefore resulting in his death

  • LOL! Damn those combos are awesome

  • Those Oro combos are like 80% -- FVCK!!

  • Damn those were some good matches.
