Feel sorry for any political comment here. Miss Deng herself never regarded herself as a property of any country or culture. She devoted everything to her performance. She is a treasure sent to us. Any thoughts beyond her music, her beauty , virtue and the love people like us have for her are shameful.
I know it is a matter of taste, but wth is so beautiful about her ? I have been to China many times and I can tell you she is just regular looking , ok thanks

@ShacklerIII It is her total persona that makes her so beautiful, perfect body, beautiful personality, unbelievable voice, sweetness, charm, humbleness even as a superstar. Check out the TT Japanese song Ai wa Suna no Youni on the masami43a channel, at about 1:00 there is a clip of TT that shows how gorgeously beautiful she was, if anyone thinks she wasn't beautiful after seeing the clip there is something wrong with that person.
This is the most beautiful time of Teresa. But no matter how beautiful she is and how sweet her voice is. She is missing a big part of life - to have a real partner for life. How sad!
thanks alot for the management to post the song , actually all songs i like the voice very cold song, and lovely voice ..... even indonecian she song how realy nice but she gone RIP Teresa Teng we love you..... from the philippines.....Fans
Why Miss Tang was a superstar and a lovely person ? When she was 17 she performed in Hong Kong night club (Golden Crown and International, both in Nathan Road). Every time when she sang this song my four wishes, she came down to the stage and shake hand with the audiences.(very nice of her).
She was always extremely friendly, very understanding and a lovely superstar.
That was the year either 1970 or 71. I clearly remembered the night club was Golden Crown in Kowloon, Nathan Road. She didn't has to reach her fans to show this kind of good gestures, somehow she was quite different from the other singers which try to keep a distance from the fans to show their superiority. Anyway, it was a lovely moment. The distinct friendliness of her when she shook with us is still a good sweet memory after all these years.
Wow! I am really jealous. I've always been living in mainland China and Teresa got very popular in late 1970s and early 1980s and she was forbidden by the communist government for political reasons. so I had no chance to see her. So exciting chatting with a person who actually saw Teresa, especially in her early years of career. Thank you. You emmigrated to North America?
Time is different now!If Miss Teng is still alive today,China really needs her to united Taiwan. Regardless weather we believe in Mao or Chang,Miss Teng was a patriot. Donated a lot of her time and money to Taiwanese army.
The most important aspect was she claimed herself is a Chinese. This is very important for her identity and earned a lot of respect from us. Let put our differences aside and build a better China. One day,in heaven, Chairman Teng and Miss Teng will sing happy China together !
Apparently, there a few loyal Communist Party members here - look at the negative marks received. Better kiss Mao's ass fast, as no one should challenge the almighty party.
@fvni apparently you do not understand China and CCP. Its members are not believers of that ideology but opportunists who need the party membership to advance their personal ambition.
Those who made negative marks are either jealous of her talent/success, or have problems seeing what is beautiful.
you should not call yourself chinese, because chinese=华人, 汉人. Therefore, you are mainlander, or communist chinese, or mainland chinese. Is that clear?
Sure you don't have any knowledge of Chinese. That's not how others call you, but what you relate yourself and feel proud of. Glad ppl like you are not recognized as Chinese.

The communist party of China is devil, Teresa Teng will lower herself if she compromises with CCP.

This is cantonese?? thought it's mandarin
It's common in those days that a famous song in one country was changed lyric and played in other countries.
