the most importent thing is that you can jump (A) and control your look (Turn RS) without moving your thumb away from RS while jumping. Thats the biggest advantage the Keyboard+Mouse players have against one who plays with a controller. and thats the shit they didnt put in. instead they make it harder to push A with that damn case.

Mouse + KB = Always the superior "controller" for FPS games. At least until direct neural controller is invented and perfected to at least near-zero lag.

I got Microsoft's Sidewinder Mouse, meaning I got access to technically 9 "keys" at once with my right hand alone! Not to mention superior precision.

@Stephenbriles movement is restricted with wasd, it only allows 8 directions... dont get me wrong, i think a mouse is a much more responsive and accurate way to aim over a thumb stick, but everything else about a controller is better

@Stephenbriles Well unless your keyboard is different, when ever you are to move in most games you use the keys "WASD". Using only four keys restricts your character movement to only 8 directions (left right forward backward and the combination of two directions). Only having 8 directions you can move does negitively effect the experience, it makes it super easy to predict enemy movement, which is a lot less likely with a thumbstick.

@EXPLOSIVEEGG I have to strongly disagree with you on that one. There may only be a total of 8 directions possible with wasd, however with both the mouse and wasd, the combinations are endless. There are so many techniques that can be used to make you extremely hard to hit, however, i don't feel like going into detail. Then again, I do only play TF2 which is nothing like COD or any other mainstream fps that are mostly played. This is random but have you spent time on a PC gaming?

I agree that a mouse is a much better system then a thumbstick, but I think a controller has some advantages. I just think the flat keyboard causes restrictions. Mainly due to using it to move.

One thing I do miss about console gaming though is the ability to sit on the couch and just play games. Sitting at my desk and playing seems so intense sometimes even when its casual. Joysticks are also better for racing, I will admit that. However, when it comes to FPS games I will always go with the keyboard and mouse.

@Stephen I personally like how every game is for the most part designed for the console. Spend $300 once and you have something that will play the current gen games until the next generation of systems. PC gaming is great, im looking forward to diablo 3 very much so. I do admit a mouse+keyboard would beat a controller any day, but if everyone in a game is using a controller it eliminates the disadvantage in my eyes. and makes the experience just as good. pcs cost a lot to upkeep.

@trionghost If your using a terrible low end keyboard then you're correct. If your using even the lowest end gaming keyboard this isn't the case. Also, If you use a mechanical keyboard like I do, it is possible to press as many keys at the same time as you want. (NKRO) There is no cap to the amount of simultaneous key presses.

@Stephenbriles Even some mid-end gaming keyboards don't support full anti-ghosting. Only above high-mid end (Around 60 dollars american) do keyboards support full anti-ghosting. Keyboards like the Razer Arctosa, Lycrosa, Anansi, etc. only support gaming cluster anti-ghosting.
