  • I do,

  • Brilliant and fun track to dance to. Sly and Robbie worked their signature dub, drum & bass magic on this. That interlude that starts at 1:42 to 2:42...... Had to have heard it at the Garage, Larry worked this up to the hilt. Who knows what I'm talking about?

  • Larry Levan use to play this song @ The Paradise Garage..........Tee Scott also use to mix on WBLS 107.5 FM back in the day............MEMORIES

  • Oh Hell Yeah! This was an underground cult classic. Dave Mancuso and Larry Levan (RIP) in the House!

  • YES IT DOES INDEED

  • This was a favorite cut played by Larry Levan at the Paradise Garage. I fortunately have the 12" but I am trying to find it on CD or transfer the vinyl to mp3.

  • PLS LET ME KNOW WHEN YA DO!!!!

  • I remember buying "Lord Upminster" from a bargain bin in K-Mart (Australia) for a buck when i was 12 yrs old - this reminds me of how much fun music could have been then (compared to the prevalent doomy depressing sounds of bands around at the time such as Joy Division and A Certain Ratio) and to hell with the BBC for banning this song - I hope society has become more tolerant of people with disabilities and mental health problems in this day and age.

  • Thanks again for a great track

  • For the year of the disabled and banned by the BBC.

  • artisticus!!!

  • And why would they do that?

  • 'cause unless you're a Blockhead I would think you're stepping on some copyright toes.

  • Shhhssh!

If you don,t say anyfink I wont.

  • I won't, I've been a fan since I got New Boots and Panties in 1978. Haven't found any posh in Burnham-on-Crouch though. I'm thinking that was a bit of humour on his part.

  • Maybe they are 'a nice bit of posh' compared to them in Billericay!

  • So place your hard-earned peanuts in my tin

Bought this in San Francisco in the summer of '81.

How come the Blockheads haven't sent out the guys with the bent noses and violin cases to sort you out Mr. Turkeypants?
