i also test drove that car when i was trying to decide between that or the STI. however i felt this car was under powered. or should i say it doesn't have the torque i wanted to feel. sure the car handles well at speed but i think a car should also be fun on the way to speed. what are your thoughts on this?

Good review, but I think it's lacking in showing what the car is capable of. When I watch a review of a nismo 370z, I want to see some hard redlining shifts, some tail slides, etc mixed in with what you gave.

i then remember how sexy the G37/G35's are then i think of the S13 - s14 silvias then the S15 SILVIA

I love both cars and planned on purchasing an 06 z06 but decided to go with the nismo. Both cars no doubt offer a ton of performance for the price but arent really comparable bc of their different price ranges... you cant compare a brand new car price to a used car price

Half of it has nothing to do w the nismo. Where's the 0-60,1/4 mile mpg... it is a fun car TO DRIVE. Rev match is cool don't like it turn it off. Handy in city traffic. Stop acting like ur a track star 99% drive on public roads.

Im sorry, but I aint spending 40k on this car, for that I buy a Mustang V6(fun and not too much gas consumption), scion tc with steroids, honda s2000, civic si with steroids, honda crz(beautiful), camaro, etc...Im sorry, but 40k is a huge hole in a wallet. If u buy the 370z Nismo, u better be using it to race more than 50% of the time, cause thats what its made for. Not daily conmuting+racing.

MSRP for a Nismo 370z is a hair above 40k. If you don't believe me go to NissanUSA and build one... you can pick one of these up brand new for around 36-38k... i know I bought one. So either your eyes decieved you or your dealer is not gonna be selling any of these at 13k above MSRP

@LeoParente I love the review. I own a 2009 Nismo Z solid red just like this one in the video #274 to be exact. Leos right in every way this car is a real sports car. Ive upgraded mine quit a bit including Fast Intentions Carbon Fiber Exhaust, GTM Res. Test Pipes, Stillen G3 intakes, B&M Short Throw Shifter, Tein S Tech Lowering Springs, SPC Camber Kit, Ichiba 10mm wheel spacers front & rear, Nitto Invo tires 305/30/19 rear & 255/35/19 front. I feel like the car will run with about anything

Wish there was a road course near by for I know that's where it would really shine. With my upgrades in power and handling it literally drives like a race car. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Especially for the money I have in it. It's a true drivers car. Period.

Well said Leo. Was looking at a used 09 NISMO Z, but went sport sedan instead. Picked up a Mazda 6S Grand Touring. Not the best one out there, but the handling is superb, has a good sound with the intake and straight pipes, and the V6 has enough power for me atm. Will end up putting Zex wet shot on it though for import nights @ National Trails. Either way, awesome review Leo and FLDetours.
