@MeredithWaters You should probably stop lecturing people that you don't know on youtube and chill out. People have the right to live their life the way they want if they are not hurting people around them or anyone for that matter. Their need for instant gratification or the use of abbreviation for everything hurting your life? @xelfeyesx Why did you take my reproach of society's over-abbreviation so personally? You are right, people do have a right to their own opinions, and to express them, especially about society. That is how we start communicating and getting rid of some of the ills, large or small, that are not good for society. Looks to me as if you did not perceive that and are the critical one. @xelfeyesx The collective movement in society to instant gratification, txting, and the like adds up to a degradation in the kind of art that takes time. Suits is a good show that will take time and is worth the wait, like all quality productions. I would hate to see masterpieces like Lord of the Rings and 7-minute songs (what about longhand love letters and poetry) become obsolete because they were "too long." Albums are already a lost art. What else will be? Let's not lose the arts, that's all

I would admit that fulfilling the instant gratification in this context could degrade the equality of the show. I don't understanding how texting is still part of the problem in this case. I think that there is nothing wrong with having the desire to see the show sooner than it is possible.

Most of the people will not stop watching the show all together just because they would have to wait. People who stop watching, it's their lost. True art can withstand through anything. People still read Shakespeare, Emily Dickinson because they are timeless.
@MeredithWaters People still go to the art museums to appreciate the paintings of Monet, Dali and Matisse. People will go out of their way if they think that it is worth it. The sad thing is we don't always agree on what is worth it and what is not. if most of us shares the same feeling that it is worthy, which is what most master pieces of any kind of art do, it will still survive.

True, the masterpieces will survive, but differences of opinion will prevail regarding the worth of good works. My post however was aimed at dispelling the notion a few put out there that Suits should be boycotted for taking so long. If we start thinking that way nothing worthwhile would stand a chance. "Instant" messages and reality TV has merits that only go so far.

I still write letters.This partly because I am used.It took sometime for my friends to accept this.The trouble is you can no longer ask for someone's adress.it sounds odd to the current generation.And I remember this being the norm in the late 90s.It was fine to ask for someone's adress cos they'd assume you want to send a postcard or a letter.
