@fishnriver Thanks for your comments Yes you are right that does a very good job of cleaning the lead plates BUT it flakes the lead sulphate to the bottom of the battery and it floats around and shorts out the plates anyway. The RECHARGE system dissolves the lead sulphate back into the acid essentially re-aciding the battery using the sulphur ions in the build-up. So long as your lead plates are sound you essentially have a new battery running at full capacity. Cheers, Gerard
