i actually think dulli was justified doing what he did. it was clear from the start that the band did not want recordings/photography. too many ppl these days are so obsessed with capturing the moment that they miss the impact of the gig itself. also, its just irritating for people on stage and around you who are, god forbid, actually trying to listen to the music and get into the atmosphere
I missed this gig due to money problems.. but let me ask what is up with the ambassador and academys recording policy?? i had the same thing happen to me at many gigs in ambassador,, for frig sake how many ppl have phone cameras.. this security guard asked me to give batteries, they were rechargeable and cost a bit, i said id put them in my pocket then found a low point and hid in the middle.. video of gigs allows those who couldnt go see what magic they missed..
As far as I know, the no photography policy was requested by the band themselves. Any other gigs on the tour had the same policy. During the gig,Greg gave out to someone who took a flash photo, and when someone else did the same later,he cut the encore short! Must be one of his pet peeves!!? I've been in the Academy before for an Xavier Rudd conert, and had no problems taking video.
Great gig, Mark was incredible as usual, just a pity that Dulli threw his usual tandrum and cut the gig short. Can't wait till Lanegan tours solo with his band again

Ah that's a pity. It was a great gig. I'm after uploading another video. Should get the final one up tomorrow. Having connection problems.
