@shreader12345@danyy1831 Hey fellas...I agree, Ableton is a funny thing to look at as a newbie, as I was about 6 months ago...but it really is worth spending the time with...once you turn that corner with it...you have that massive "AH HA!" moment and wonder why you ever used anything else...I was about to give up too and am so happy that I didn't...once you have the basics figured it's a great tool. Hope you have another look at it.
abelton is fukin hard to used compared to fl studio...i downloaded abelton, looked at it, then i said "fuk this" and deleted it lol...i want it back now tho :(
i have some projects in FL 9 that i would like to play live using ableton 8. Is it possible to import a project file and play it in ableton, or at least control it using ableton (with an MPC or something)?

yo..not sure if you tried this but the easiest way to do it is to open live and after it is opened, then open fl studio.. the rewire session will open and everything is synced. On a mixer channel, changed the "audio from" to :FL Studio" (or however its listed.... you should be able to hear stuff from FL.. I think Rewire only works (or works best) with LIVE being the main host and FL as the guest or wuteva ya call it..
i just installed ableton / pro tools and now wen ever i click to open fruity loops it says re wire and all my files in FL wont play, do u know how I can fix this or whut the problem is?
Lol did u fix it yet , think ur trying to play the empty audio track in ableton the synth was. In slot 2 . Anyway when you change sum thing in Live go back to fl and press add/change on the rewire channel , and I bet you would see the synth on channel 2 not 1.. After fix it take the video down . And lol 600 views and no one told you this
dude, forget the midi out! - put the rewire plugin in fl into an empty channell slot, say channel 12 or something, open up a sound in live (eg a piano, etc) then back in fl, be sure to select that rewire channel, ... it should work (also make sure the sound u oppened in live is also sellected (red) - another thing, for looping seemlessly and endlessly, be in song mode in fl.
the only problem I'm having is when I record stuff in live and try syncing in arrangement mode. it doesn't play a thing!!!
check your chanels in fl and in's and out's in ableton....
