  • WHOOOO DOPE

  • the bass drum sounds really bad on that camera

  • What size is the floor tom

  • Nice drumming man :)

  • nice sound !! bass drum sounds like a car subwoofer

  • excellent sound quality

  • you bass drum sounds like it was edited! like some kind of electric club bass sound. its so cool! is that how it actually sounds or is it just the camera. and you are a great player, keep it up

  • hey, i´ve the same kit, but my snare doesen´t sound good, cause there is a droll(?) reverbration... srry i am german..

  • Which snare it is, which heads do you use and then, how did you tune your toms ?

And Which micro do you use ? :)

Thanks, and by the way great playing, even if I think its too much " agostini style" do you know.. but great.

  • lol at first i thought there were 2 hi hats

  • i used to use two hi hats when my stand was broke i had one set open one closed but i couldnt splash :(. yes, i know its a mirror i was just saying.

  • Nice solo. Is that a regular routine or just on the fly stuff?

  • good jobb man !!

  • WOW ..U R A BAD ASS DRUMMER

  • @2222loko I USED DRUM JUST LIKE YOU WHEN I WAS 10 YEARS OLD ..

  • Cool Solo AND Nice Drumroll!I'm glad you are all doing this for me!Even the toms are nice! I hope you put up a long tom tom roll as well! Long Live Premier!Brainy,Brainman Media

  • how much was your set?

  • Comment removed

  • That bass drum is horny as.....man

  • lol i thought you had two hi hats but then i saw them moving up and down at the same time and i realised they were in the mirror.

    lol

  • Sick bass drum, man.

  • that bas drum ihas the perfect booming sound.

  • i have two Premier kits they are great drums for any genre

  • mini kit?? noooo.. jajajaja.. daa!

  • That's not a mini kit. It's a "small kit." Mini kits are made of minature sized drums, duh.

  • thats one of the best snare sound ive ever heard :)

  • Have the same set & also a DW mini-pro. I play more with the Premier & love the sound. The bass feels akward though, being that its skinny, its a longer reach to the pedal. Probably sell the DW, had ordered a cocktail kit.

  • 1:23 nice shuffle beat on the kick with the 2's and 4's accented with hat pedal, just work on your rolls on the hat and the angle your stick meet the edge to get that jizzalicious clean cut crisp sound.

  • Kick sounds like a black eyed peas kick or something like that. Awesome sound you got there!

  • You own the groove!

  • your snare sounds awsome

  • I play mostly death metal <<<

    Son, I am dissapoint.

  • Beast Bass Drum My Friend

    BBD

    ;)

  • wtf wow ur bass drumm soundds dope

  • Wow nice tune man! Love that sound :D

  • What an amazing sound!!! It's just... waooo...

  • Fuck yourself.

  • your bass drum sounds sweet man

  • awesome!dude whats the head of your bass drum?thanks

  • siick

  • You are within a stone throw from showing the music world what it's all about. DO IT!!!!

  • You're really good! I'm digging this kit and your playing.

  • i love that bass man ... fuck its amazin...

  • 808 state!

  • that set sounds great- especially the snare...

  • does anyone know where i can buy a premier set? cant seem to find anyplace

  • if you cant find one its probably because theyre mainly marketed in europe, and in europe mainly britain (although it is a common myth that theyre made there nowadays)

  • your nasty. i wish my drummer could play like you

  • i tried to make amini kit set up... check it out.

  • duude ive been wondering abt small bass depths for a while, how do you like it that short? i heard its alot easier to play in like response nd speed, can you clarify?

im gonna get a custom kit probly SJC nd i rlly wanted to get a huge size like a 24x26 pretty much just for looks but do you think huge sizes affect playability?

    sounds sweet btw

  • Well im not him,but ill try to clear some stuff up for you lol,if you want a huge kick drum like that you cant do alot of fast strokes because itd just sound like one huge echo, but the bigger the kick drum the more powerful it will sound, like for instance a 18in.longx20in.round is used for punk because of its speedy sound but it doesnt give the best low end,but a big bass drum is mostly used for stuff like big band/jazz/some forms of techno because you need that massive low end hope that helps

  • actually most jazz, especially now a days usually use pretty small bass drums. People only associate big basses with jazz because when most big band drummers in the hey day of big band only had big bass drums because they were actually converted concert basses.

Most jazz post 50's use smaller bass drums such as the gretcsh catalina club for example. Generally tuned pretty tight. Search "Ari Hoenig Invitation" thats a good example. It was recorded live at Smalls in NYC. One of the best today.

  • Oh, wow, i need to know my history a bit lol, im not a drummer, ive just taken advice from them with what they know, so know you cleared some up for me too, Thanks mate

  • no prob man, just wanted to clera it up for "theruineddrumer".

Also forgot to mention SJC kits are really great, they're manufactured in my town, I'm know the co-owner. Great group of people building nice kits.

  • thx dude

  • Honestly, the size of the bass drum really depends on what sound you like and how hard you play. I like the 22x22 or 22x20 because I play super hard and can move that much air so it doesn't sound like a huge "thud". 24x18 is a great size too, but 24x26 is a little over the top unless you're micing your kit ALL THE TIME. Before ordering a kit go out and play some different sized kicks cause then you'll know what you like and dislike...and remember it's all up to your likes...

  • thanks bro that helped

  • yeh no problem...but seriously you might go out and play and play a kit and like a 20x20...it's your kit man...get what sounds good to you

  • Hope I can play my Premier set that well one day!

  • the bass drum punches right through the mix. nice n' loud. keep this shit up!

  • Sounds great! nice tune!

  • How the FUC you make it look so easy!..

  • The kit is tuned perfectly. The drums sound great. What sizes are they?

  • i used to have the same kit, kicking myself that i sold it! although i wish it had a 20x14 bass drum, its the only thing i would fault about it, the snare was simply beautiful, think i may invest again

  • why does that bass drum sound soo big?!?! I may be picking this kit up today. I also have a Sono jungle kit. I have an affinity for small kits lol

  • great drumming ;)

but i think you should get rid of that weird sound your floor tom makes ;)

  • the kit is a Premier Artist Jazz 20 they sound amazing!! and the kick drum fits in a mini!!

  • this sounds way better than the "drum kit from hell" lol

  • How long you been playin man?

  • i've been playing for 5 years.

  • @dwjames I've been playing since 1959 myself, a little longer than I sometime like to admit. Have you taken lessens? I'm not trying to be a wise-guy; what I'm getting at is that you have a free and easy demeanor sitting behind that kit that can't be learned, a naturel feel that's beautiful to watch. Don't ever stop playing.

  • wow, i got to say that i some great drumming! people just dont understand that less is more! your a great drummer and i love your style.

  • Two hi-hats??? ive seen two snares, two bass drums, two floor toms, but two hi-hats ive never seen before, but i shant dare say a word against it, your a great drummer, but unfortuantly this quality and style of playing is slowly fading out.

  • its only 1 hihat haha that's a mirror.

  • LOL like i realized as soon as i clicked "post comment" i feel like such a jackass lol so i marked it as spam hoping no one would notice!

  • @dwjames haha what a knob imagine not realising its a mirror hahahahaha u absolute cock

  • @80XY LOL

  • @80XY Hahahahaha idiot xD

  • @80XY MIRRORRRR! hehehehehehe!

  • @80XY haha thats what i thought too!

  • @80XY 2 hi hats is great actually, lots of people are doing now that they are fining it a more efficiant way of getting a closed hi hat sound while playing double bass. but thats just a mirror.

  • Your ride is fucking perfect. And the almost breakbeatish beat around 2:45 is beautiful. The world needs more drummers like you and less drummers who want to be joey jordison.

  • well said DevoRizzle

  • nice groove

  • Excellent dynamics. Keep drumming!

  • nice

  • awsome!! my dads got dis kit:P

  • Absolute fantastic job!

  • I have to say that is awsome that you decided to play a steady groove that sounds great instead of just playing as fast as you can like most people. Thanks.

  • agreed. this sounds better than all that double bass crap these days.

  • Nice sound!

  • hah i thought u had 2 hihats at first

  • I read your comment, and I was like: Huh, he does, doesn't he? xD But then I saw it was mirror xD

  • those were some wicked rollz on the snare at the beginning

  • nice groove

  • subscribed :]

  • Once again, dwjames delivers us all our weekly dose of GROOOOOVE syrup. lol

  • Man, you're great. Great feel, great grooves, just all round fantastic!

  • sharpie, youre a BABE when you play drums.

  • nice kit man... much nicer than mine!

  • one more thing.

Nice Premier Heritage Kit... or i mean... a Cabria... ROFL!

  • That's not a Cabria, it's an Artist Series. Great line of drums, the best of the semi-pro kits.

  • lol. it's an inside joke.

Basically, we got the kit for a Cabria shell price. Thus

  • Haha, lucky gits! Wish I could get an Artist Series for Cabria money. :D

  • that's some sick groovin'

And with 1 g, cause there's only one way of groovin'

Though i think your kit was missing something.

I think it needs more cowbell.
