@lilchuy01 Billie wrote this song, ...along w/ quite a few others, some became standards = "Don't Explain". I must say that I feel the same as far as voices you mention, which grab me and take me down whatever road they choose,...as 'Rose' sings in one of B'ways greatest musicals: "You either Have it,....or you've had it." Billie & Judy may very well have been lyricist Stephen Sondheim's inspiration. I must add Piaf as well.

Billie holiday is breath taking and timeless. What an amazing singer she never had to proof she was good she just was it? She had so much love flowing out of her she sang all your feelings and emotions she had a special gift. She used it without ego that's why nthe people loved her.
