Hey Colins, is there a chance that you can explain how sniping was in Alpha? Over power? Under power? MoH (their experimental baby) had snipers that were extremely over power. and then in bfbc2, sometimes it was under power (unless ur up close). so hows the sniping in bf3 so far?

@PhunnyConflicts If you follow along with Demize99 on twitter, he has stated that bolt actions are not capable in close quarters, nor should they be. I can't tell you specifically what I saw, but you can infer that the snipers have been made much less powerful.

@oplim77 @phunnyconflicts i used the sv98 extensively in the bf3 alpha. it was a very solid sniper. It was probably overpowered by a good amount. it was a one shot kill in the chest above and it had a good fire rate and ads. The scope sway was prominent but i found myself easily managing it as long as you dont just hold breath while scanning for enemies. overall the sv98 was a very good gun i know they will make it worse, but it should be a one shot kill, even in close quarters. hope that helped

Watching you play BFBC2 just made me sad. I am a PC player from Hong Kong and there are almost no servers for me to play. I bought vietnam but I cant find any server in Asia now. NOT EVEN ONE. And for the original game, every servers come from Japan. No offence, but Japanese gamers totally ruin the game. They camp the hell out or rush the whole game, only to get more kills but not playing the objectives. I ask them to PTFO once and got kicked by the admin, who was in the game quickscoping.
