This made my day. My mom doesn't write because that wouldn't give her enough time to keep talking.I call her my micromanager and it drives me insane. This mom sounds more extreme. I guess I shouldn't be so annoyed. If Adam can do it so can I. lol
So glad my parents are bodybuilders with their own lives. They're still going to poolside underwear parties in LA and Florida.
However, they do give great advice. I grew up hearing which bodybuilders had 'gyno' and 'shrinkage' (they'd 'known' all these people), and why never to try roids or HGH (or booze, or tobbacco, or drugs, or meat...). And it was all important, accurate advice......particularly when they told me NOT TO EAT SUSHI (you can get incurable parasites).
This wonderful video provides a fascinating look into how the other half lives. Because this is utterly counter to how my stern German Lutheran mother raised us. Example: If you were going to cry, you were told to "Go cry on the steps." And the steps were outside. What might life have been like with Adam's mom? And if I had saved all those letters, my mother would have said, "Why?" This video opens an entire new realm of experience to me!
