Casshern 2004 is one of the hardest movies to understand of all human history... I tried to read as many reviews I could to get a sense of what this movie tries to tell us... It contains so many and diverse themes, motives, ideas, symbols that I feel completely confused and lost in its labyrinth... This art isn't for fast food and popcorn cinema goers :D

My favourite song from the whole film. I actually cried at the end, mostly because you saw all the characters. I wasn't sure if they were flashbacks to specific moments in their lives to show what they felt, or if they were showing what each person was seeing in their afterlife. Such as the two forever cycling happily through field together, while his father spends an eternity with his wife and the child version of casshern. if that makes sense.

@xmaster2 - I actually cry over it but more because I see it as either the last moments of true happiness, now gone forever, or the last moments of peace for those who were corrupt (that one guy looking into the sunset and crying was really amazing in particular)

@VistaManiac93 No the movie sucked because of poor pacing, a story that will never make sense, the color orange posted over people to simulate a time of day. LENS FLARE. and prolly the most horrendous and insulting anti war message ever. The music rocks though and I don't think the composer was trying very hard considering he reused music he did for bleach.

@lasheron I definitely agree with you. I own this movie and there are certain scenes (this one in particular) that the music is so moving that I always replay the scenes just to hear it. It also matches the particular scenes perfectly. But you are right, very touching.

Even the Japanese people, when the movie came out, voted it to be the second worst movie of the year. How's that? Why are people like that I don't know.
