The use of soft tissue maniulation to treat hyertension is scientificly unsupportable and without merit. Further, in Virginia, Massage Therapists are legaly enjoined from the diagnosis and treatment of any disease or condition
I disagree with you that utilization of massage in treatment of essential hypertension( not secondary hypertension) is scientifically unsupportable. you welcome to visit my webside and to read my article on the subject including many references.if in Virginia massage therapist cannot treat people doesn't mean that massage therapy is not powerful scientifically developed and clinically proven method.Best wishes.Boris
I'm a massage student if you can't afford the going rate at the spa's in your area you might want to look into trying to go to a school where the going rate is half of which would be elsewhere just a though.
I've noticed for a long time now a tension in my upper back and neck area and have been trying to massage it myself. When I saw this model you were holding I could tell it was exactly what I have been feeling. I had thought it was just some kind of social anxiety that I could overcome. If I can teach myself to relax these neck muscles through massage and possibly meditation can I cure it?
