Cliffjumper's kinda a moron and often acts like he has something to prove by being tough. In this case, he seemed to have good reason to mistrust Mirage, but not right away, I'd say. Mirage is known by his fellow Autos not to like war, and he questions their cause, but not to the point that he'd want to be on the other side, either (unless he might have thought the Deceps were the winning side and the war would end faster so he could return to his beloved Cybertron?!).

its a shame what the movie industry did to the transformers legacy. Hollywood turned auto bots into fools and deceptacons into misguided pieces of junk looking for remnants of the original megatron. Well Mirage is supposed to be the least trustworthy of the original Autobots  Basicly he was Cybertron's version of Bruce Wayne. Very wealthy socialite. With the best gear and training his energon could buy.
