  • Why wouldn't you recommended Urban Beauty ?

  • good quality u already know (:

  • hi once the wefts are taken out when desired is your hair underneath damaged? as i really want a weave but everyone says they damage your hair so wanted to no what more people think? also if helps im a white english person (just thought id state as deiff ethnicitys have different hair) xx

  • @leadobsonx it wont damage your hair unless you put a leave in conditioner in your hair. To make it soft and moisturized, also you have to oil your scalp so it wont dry out and your hair breaks off. So go to your local store and by a nice leave in moisturizer and place it in your hair before you braid it to sew in the wefts. Also while the weave is in your hair you have to keep it moisturized, so i recomend buying an hair oil with an applicator nozle. Doo Gro is a good oil, look it up

i have reallly curly hair meeting my shoulder. so is my hair too thick to be braided and be put into a net(my hair is thick)????

and on averagge how much money would it be to get this done at the hair dressers??

how much money did u pay for your wefts?

i live in the countryside in england so i actuallly have no idea and my mum isnt any help..:/

  • when you get to the crown how do you close it without showing your track because i've tried and i always end up just using glue to close it or leave a little bit of my hair out to cover it.

  • grrrl u are a trip....THANK YOU! im bout to make me some $.

  • i have 2 questions.... does it matter how big or small the cornrows are? and then cornrows should b goin across ur head not down right?

  • THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

  • .. this is a silly question..

have you ever poked yourself in the scalp with the needle?

i'm a total weave virgin, my hair is super thin and straight, but my friend asked me to help her sew one in.. i'm nervous times a million.. i don't want to hurt her or make her look a state!

  • hell yes, I've stabbed myself, broke the skin, gone under the cuticle

gotta be careful lol but I was usually rushin when that happened and simply follow step by step and you'll be fine

  • @Charr3169 yea ill be ok! me as a hair stylist i will do that to at the begginin but let me tell u trick do it very slowly and tryto get those neddles thatare like roundish!

sike its ok alot of people dont know how to do their own hair u just have to learn

  • Yeah but it does make me feel handicap.

  • Where can you find the net? and how can you mosturize your real hair if you have a net on ur head?

  • are u high? lol

  • REMY HAIR!!!! i pay $86-120 for my weave n it NEVER kinks or tangles

  • Comment: Urban Beauty is thought to be good quality hair but it really is not. Its tangled my hair several times before if you want good quality hair try domo or remy. Domo is 45 to 50 a pack and is excellent hair

  • yes yu can tell yu hav ADHD buht dnt worry ido to lol ijust learned how 2deal ova time qrl.

  • wow she is so confusing me right now- whay can't you talk right- i dont mean to be negative, but i really want to understand what she is saying, i watch her all the time.....jeeeze....stay focused!

    im really confused

  • I have just started my journey to going natural....ahhh!!!!!! I can't wait to do this swe-in so I don't have to walk around bald. LOL

  • i love this method, ive done my own sew ins twice

    thank you soo much :)

the second time around it looks ALOT better so it does take a lil practice but you will love it

  • what rude comments? all the things she said were common scense. if u buy a cheap weave it wont last long, so quality is key. and who doesnt know which part is the weft? huh? lol i thought everyone knew that. great video and i learned some tips that i will use when i sew in my hair again next time. thanx!

  • aww her comment was rude, and i am too glad that u have videos on here to help my cheap self save money lol and yup she is a lame bitch. sexual butterfly? like really, come on now and she wanna comment on the size of ur brian

  • I found these videos very useful. I'm going to give it a try. Thanks for sharing!

  • Well despite the other rude comments let me just say that I for one am so thankful that you were willing to put your time aside and yourself on youtube for the benefit of others. Those who mock you can't say much because they're probably not benefiting others as much you have just by these videos. Thank you sooo much! :D

  • there was nothing constructive about it

and you offer nothing but a rude comment and can't take the name Bitch...

don't dish out the rude unless you can take it

  • aaah you like my breasts do you?

    lol course you do

and to the rest of what you said...blah bllah blah srsly

    come harder than that

  • ROFLMBO!!!

  • @kiannaluv21 ugggghhhhhhhhhhhhh nah nah nah naaaaaaaaaaah!

  • @sexualbutterfly excuse me, but ppl with ADHD are exremely intelligent.its just sad that they have soo much on their mind.they r confusing..but really the only ppl who really get confused r us(ppl who dont think as fast/much as them)

  • LMAO...u are hilarious!

I jus cam across ya vidz n i WILL be watch

cuz i get full of dat weave n i need ta kno how ta do it right LOL!

  • I have a question... You say you use like 3 bags? Do you, after you finish sewing up to the crown, go back and add more hair? How do you use all of the hair? I've seen many hairstylists fold the weft into two to make it thicker while sewing it in, instead of going back and adding more tracks.. how do you do it?

  • I only used 3 bags b/c I had a new color I usually use two bags and I never have to double the weft nor go back b/c I take care of it the first time keep the tracks close to each other and trust me you'll use alot

  • you're probably drunk all the time...

  • i wanted to know how do you take out the weave?

  • put at the sting and cut it with a razor blade

  • Gurl I watched this video and did my own sew in and my co workers are asking me to do their hair and I work with alot of women Thank you sooo much I've gotten compliments everyday.

  • yay!

  • urban beauty sheds on me so damn bad!! i stopped buying it.1

  • girl youre a pro. great work. im a dude who wants weaves and my mom want let me get them so ima buy me some freakin $70 clip ins that have small clips and run across the back of the head. hopefully those will look ok

  • yea that sure can work

  • I think you explained it better than anyone else... I have hair in a drawer I haven't pulled out in years... wow. Great VID!

  • DOES IT HURT

  • do you wash you hair when you have the weave in?

  • Do you just keep sewing across?

  • Wow, you are a bigg help. But i have a question that i just cant figure out. when you are sewing in the weave how do you sew in the bottom part that is over the hang time?

  • Aww, thankyou so much for posting this. I'm going to try it! I spend so much money getting a weave on in the salon and just dint think it would be possible to do it myself. Thanks. your a star. :)

  • I've been doing my own weave for as long as i can remember, well glue not sow in. I'm gonna try to sow it now that i've seen this, anyway, where do i get a net? Thnx girl

  • chinese hair shop korean hair shop...hair shops

  • hey after seeing your tutorial i did my hair for the first time and it came out great i wanna thank you so much it was so helpful and i just wanted to let you know fuck the haters there always gonna be there so just keep doing you and just as a tip i used remy indian hair and its the best hair ever so if you wanna save your money cause it is a little expensive i think you should buy it dont worry youll love it well ttyl and thanks again

  • great to hear!!

  • it causes ur hair to break off

  • great advice ima hook my hair up next week thanx!!!!

  • Thank you VERY much. I dont think I can buy that hair around here. Maybe I will try to find some online. Thanks again!

  • i want to know how to keep the weave from looking cone shaped

  • why do you start sewing at the temple and not at the nape?

  • I do both it just makes it a little quicker

  • Where do you buy this Urban Beauty stuff? I got human hair here where I live and it was like $90 for hair that was 14" long, and it was only enough hair for 3 rows.

  • The best weaves to get (at least from my Xperience) are the Beverly Johnson human hair weaves. They're a about a quarter of the price that you've been paying, and you get ALOT of hair to work with:)

  • Ur so pretty and I love ur videos! Ur hair always comes out looking great :)

  • girl, please u gotta have i great ass job! to pay that much 4 that hair.. go girl u do yo thang!!!!!!!

  • Just curious; if you can't find the net, can you use a very thin hair net?

  • umm you want a strong net so if it's thin a strong sure otherwise it's pointless

  • YOur tutorials are great! At first I thot they would be kind of weird but, now I am sewing along!! Though I cant braid my own hair :(...happy weaving!

  • so can you get that net from the beauty supply store

  • I like the length you got how long is it?

  • aight neva mind sry i finished watchin all of um u had said 12 in da weave update video thanks much luv! the videos helped alot

  • where did you get the net from?

  • that hair is only $17 down here, it's a good grade but not one i would buy.

  • 1 question, can you use only on boxe to acheive this look?

  • How many rows of braids did you braid before applying the weave?

  • If you have never used Urban Beauty hair, beware of shedding and matting like crazy!!! I used it for a sew-in one time and it was gorgeous for about a week 1/2 but after that...horendous. Just giving you a heads up ;)

  • milky way or remy platinum is the best way to go. milky way if you wanna be a little cheap, lol but remy is when you wanna spend doe. it starts at about $60 a pack but it is honestly and truly worth it.

  • I agree,I dont know where they sell remy though :( Imma find it though but I'll most definitely check it out thanks and milky way is nice but after a while ....smh

  • Yea i was using Bohyme remy but now i've switched over to virgin Indian and i'm hooked lol

  • yes girl I'm mad lol but it doesnt matter I wanted you all to see the technique but I'll never get this hair again..

  • LOL!! Aww sorry i couldn't warn you earlier. Just a tip though, if you wash and condition with a good conditioner (like for damaged hair) and let it sit for 30 mins it won't tangle and matt up as bad. It worked for me ;)

  • where do you buy the net? i dont normally wear full weaves but i've done them for other people and i couldn't use the net because they didn't know where to get one.

  • from the chinese hair shop where they sell the hair,

  • You did a great job positioning your tracks. Another great vid.. 5/5!

  • I used to use urban beauty when I glued it in(damaging) that was my hair girl. But I think they discontinued where I'm from. But mine never cost 33 dollars I paid like 14 dollars a pack.

  • Yeah I was thinkin the same thing..Urban Beauty changed their package and all and I guess are doing higher grade hair because they used to sell it for 15.99 a pack for 18 inches here. I buy "Princess" hair now and it's better than some of the high end stuff and I only paid 11.99 for 18 inches.

  • where are you from. i know this reply is old but i wanna do my own hair and if they still make that hair is it the same price?
