"Greatest chess player, and biggest jerk at the same time!" - QuakePhil

  • Go for it. But you're on your own when faced to explain which of the two became a greater factor in Fischer's life :)

  • Well, the world will probably remember him as a chess player only!

  • Kasparov has said and I agree that Fisher

was able to find weaknesses in his opponents while trading pieces at the right time. That is creativity.

  • You inspired me 4 sure.Maybe I will become a chessmaster in tribute to your loyalty 2 chess. That is at least I can do.Rest in peace my friend

  • Bobby, you were simply the best. Rest in peace, my friend.

  • The most creative chessplayer ever. No one can dispute that.

  • That is easily disputable. Bobby wasn't known as especially creative at least when compared to someone like Tal. But even God would envy his accuracy.

  • good job

  • iyi adamdı rahmetli :)

  • misundertood like me! RIP my master. What a symbolic death at 64!!!!

  • Rememeber him for his total personality and for blasting the trecherous US govt for persecuting and hounding him needlessly. He was a lone voice against evil.

  • Robert James Fischer, you will not be forgotten.

I would prefere to remember that shiny eyed brooklyn boy who blasted away the soviet chess machine and weep with him at the many injustices that he had to endure during his lifetime.

" The chess heavens open and down came Fischer" Tal ( Another beautiful and brilliant player.

  • Very good work,... tributes to you!
