I know my voice sounds so odd in this thing. I'm kind of embarrassed about it. Overdramatic much, I guess. But also, I don't like my family hearing me when I record, so I try to keep my voice low. So many people have commented that my voice is awful. xD

@cheesebowls Thank you so much for that comment...I'm just rereading through some and there's so many negative ones...This was just a school assignment from sophomore year of high school and I only had one day to put it together with no actors, so I'm proud of what I made with what I had.

I just wish people wouldn't be so critical and take that into account.

If your voice didn't sound like it belonged as the host of a horrow show, this woul dhave been better. Plus, there weren't enough shots of things from the book. You made it seem like there was this whole huge great world with all of the nature scenerey- but in the society they really didn't branch out farther than the uncharted forrest and their confined town. Nice video though.

Eh...my voice is terrible...

I do understand your point about there needing more clips from the book, but I was crunched for time (only had one school night to make this) and I needed resources too (actors, settings, props, costumes etc.) I decided to just show a little bit, (which is why I chose to do a trailer in the first place,) and found these overhead shots that I thought would be cool to represent all that he was missing, wanted to see, learn, and explore, and the freedoms he desired.

@flippinflamingoo Well, as I mentioned in the description, I had one weekday to put this together, so frpm about 5:00PM when I get home, till about 10:00 when I went to sleep. I also had no actors, costumes, props, etc. so I did the best I could. I tried to put the nature scenes along with the words to show how the main character was hopeful and searching for knowledge. It's everything he was missing...what he wanted. And he does eventually leave the town. It was supposed to be inspirational.

Yeah, as I have mentioned my I hate my voice, the mic was terrible, and it just...sounds terrible in this video. Poor quality...Wish I had more time to put it together, but it was a one day homework assignment.

Every person's voice sounds unpleasant when he hears it on a recording. Realize that it's not the voice itself which is unpleasant, it's just the fact that you don't hear yourself from that perspective very often. It's not necessarily bad; just new and different.

But he's right, your voice is kind of annoying in this video. But that has nothing to do with how you speak normally. You're just being overly dramatic. Nothing to worry about. You haven't been trained in drama.
