@vancamisme You'd have to ask yoggileet about the song, however about the footage, they were originally going to have Aragorn fight Sauron at the Black Gate, however they felt it took away from Frodo's story and scratched it, but put the raw footage in a special feature I believe.

First off, the elves are not weaker then humans but actually stronger, because they are immortal and know the powerful Magics unlike any human. Also, he was so tall because he was a Dark Lord, he was what you would classify as a powerful demigod almost to god status in that world. Former apprentice of Morgoth I believe.
