Dick. I see you do not use wrist straps - is your tina particularly light? did you learn this way? By the way, I have your two books. Curious about the straps.
no, its a 48 key wheatstone treble,made about 1910.
yes,thats how I learned,very few players were using wrist straps in those days.
I had acouple of lessons from Frank Butler,and I dont think he ued them either.I ,also have a 56 key tenor treble,which is a bit heavier,I dont use wrist straps on that either.Dick Miles
its known as child ballad 100[professor childs collection]it was popular,in scotland England IsleofMan,and Newfoundland,notsure what partof england its from,glad you liked it.Dick Miles

I have played Robin Hoods Bay club many times,but Martin does not seem to go to the club,perhaps he is too busy with his own work,
of course I would be delighted should he turn up,he lives in the village.
