@valoriann The official "canon" position is that they don't have an official "canon" position. In the original Japanese Final Fight she is 100% all woman. For the US release there was controversy with beating women, so they made up one story after another with omfg-hilarious consequences.

Poison is really a smoking hot woman. Capcom stokes the myths and paranoia 4tehlulz because (it's lol funny) fear and doubt makes her interesting and tormenting... totally fits the character perfectly! :D

If you all love Poison and requested for her to be in the game, then congratulations, Capcom FINALLY listened to fan requests! I just hope they don't retcon all that makes her one of the most memorable Final Fight characters. Post Op babe FTW!
