would you believe it if I told you guys that I caught a pikachu as soon as got into viridian forest for the first time! I wasn't even hunting for any Pokemon,and at first I thought that maybe in this remake,you can easily find a pikachu in the forest unlike in the original,but I caught it anyway.then I came to this site just to see if It's a rare.

@Deathclaw40 When your pokemon is too strong just wait and dont attack... I catched him with squirtle. Pikachu using on him growl so he's attack fell down 3 times growl and you can use acke/scratch max 2-3 times and he have red hp ;) I hope i helped

Also, if you're close to getting surf from Fusha City, I'd recommend just going to the power plant. They show up much more frequently and they're on level 20-24, so they can start contributing to your team right away.

@quy27nsr I learned the hard way that you can't get choosy when it comes to gender.

I destroyed the pikachu I saw with a Ivysaur razor leaf and didn't see another for at least 55-60 tries.
