@sinorsaint Yeah there was a japanese version of symphonia and Tales of destiny got a remake on Ps2 and they never came to the states, these games don't always get localized. That said i Imported the ps3 version like i did with the destiny remakes there very import friendly, Also this game is in america already on 360.

The movie is about Yuri's Time with the Knights, and its not localized yet its being localized if you want to watch it right now it would need to be subbed.

This really depressed me while I was fighting Estelle. I was good with the ongoing battle music, and the intense scene music, and then everything went quiet and this song started playing...my heart just about stopped. Tales of Vesperia has done a horribly good job making sure I'm very attached to almost each and every one of its characters. Especially the playable cast.

I really don't understand this, and it's not the first time I read this either... For me she was the most competent healer in EVERY tales game, and by far... She really sucked during ~ 7 or 8 hours, but during everything after this, she was just perfect compared to Mint (lol.), Tear, or whatever...

Gotta love my 360, I guess. Maybe it have an evolved intelligence and is the next terminator.

@troyhoward15 Patty's a "new" character they added for the PS3 version.

The only hint towards her existence you can normally see in the XBox360 version is that there's a lighthouse in Capua Torim and there's a pirate's hat in a room on the second floor with a name that starts with "PA..." written on it. I'll have to check my sources again, but I believe someone found a 9th character slot on 360 while hacking his savefile to put Flynn in the party. She has no attacks, skills, or anything though.

Patty's nowhere near broken as most of the cast... She's like, completely random with a lot of her spells and skills. I use her because I like the luck factor that comes with her, and I find her, Karol, and Raven hard to use VERY effectively. Flynn's fun, though, and requires skill as well... You know what, I think the whole cast takes skill except for Yuri -.- Too straightforward

I never like any of the swordsmen f rom the Tales games. They allll have the same artes too. I like using the wierd melee fighters like Karol/Anise/Presea/Judith etc. they're much more fun~~

Well, I must comply. I, in all honesty like using Yuri for his attacking style. (I also like repede's attacks as he is pretty fast). Not all the char's styles are the exact same. Even the same arts vary with style. Ex: 2 swords, one sword, ambidexturous. Also, what you say can go along with many. Many of the characters have the same arts (in general, all vary in types of artes) Ex- swords, bows, healers, tend to have the same. Well, I'm out of space so I'll stop... Have a great day~

EXACTLY!!!! He ha a lot of stuff that makes up for his weaknesses, which makes him just plain... I have the PS3 version, and after trying everyone out, I think the most fun characters to learn IMO are Patty, Karol, Raven/Flynn, Judith, Repede, Estelle, and Rita, in that order... Yuri got stale to me in the middle of Part 2

this fight is either hella hard, or hella easy.

it depends on wether or not your overlimit combo lasts long enough, cause estelle can pretty much 1 hit KO you if she gets you into a combo.

and if she uses her burst arte. . . well her aim usually sucks.

Ok on the first tales of symphonia for the gamecube lloyd will pick a person to join his search for exspheres. Depending on who lloyd gives the most attention throughout the game the person will alter. The default person is collette but lets say you want lloyd and sheena together. All you have to do is pick sheena for almost everything where you have to pick someone through the game. Plus i picked sheena since she was the hottest :).
