S2k guy says he clutch is slipping but I think it was more of just how he shifted to be honest with you. Obviously that is just my opinion as I have not driven said car.
I own a 05 s2k with k&N Fpik, 3" headerback and raced a 350z with the same mods and he had a passenger and I whopped him by at least two cars...that s2k should of beat him bad..
That's the busiest "abandoned" highway I've ever seen. If you're going to race, why not take it to the track? You don't have to worry about the cops, other people, etc. And you get hard data to back up (or shut up) all the trash talking in the comments section.

@tontonsteve thats funny, because the lexus Ls 460h destroyed the s550 in rankings & reliability in its class, gets 21 mpg and costs about 15k less. im not a lexus fan boy but some japanese cars are far from retarded and cheap. i would probably still get a benz because the driving experience is much more engaging than a boring lexus. but lexus does make quality cars.

And yeah, that B7 is AMAZING, I've only seen them in the showroom though. That Alpina Z8 is crazy too, the rims are way too big, haha.

Also, the reason why the honda can hang is because it's super small and light. I can't comfortably fit into the S but have plenty of room in the Z. Any Honda isn't shit without turbo, too...

Actually, turbo cars heve headers too. They are what leads off of the enging block to the turbo (on a turbo car) and from the block to the exhaust on a n/a car.
The downpipe on a turbo car is from the turbo exhaust outlet to the exhaust.
You were right in the respect that cars usually only have one, unless you are running a larger engine (v6, v8, ect) with a dual exhaust setup. In that case, you have two sets of headers.
i have a completely stock z and i spank my boys s2k that has downpipes headers, and test pipes.
Usually by 2-3 cars.....that being said s2ks are slow the s2000 got the jump everytime and was spraying and still was begging to keep up. Just not in the same league little man

However, if you have an HR Z (306hp) compared to the DE Z (286) then yes you will beat a stockish S2K by about 2-3 cars

Either your lying, or they just suck at driving. 06 Z's had 300 hp and 260 tq. Faster then the 03-05's, but slower then the 07+ with 306 hp. It should be a good race for you against an 04+ S2k with equal drivers. If you win, it's not only because you have more power, but because you're a better driver then the people you raced. Try racing someone who can drive and results will change.
Your right about the drivers for the S2k's, they are usually under 21yrs and can barely shift. Once fourth gear kicks my car will begin to slowly walk away from them.

@ambientflier Lol what? The 350z only walks an S past 110, but on the 1/4 the s2000 wins. Single exhausts for the s2000 add anywhere from 10-15whp (10 being a cheap option). Thats not the only factor that would cause it to pass the Z, its also the difference in weight from going stock to aftermarket and the fact the most aftermarket single exhaust designs are meant to improve the mid range power band of the F20C motor. 3rd gear, the Z gets passed no problems.
@thgame103 Lol, is that why 95% of all Z v S videos on here show the honda losing? You do realize that 3rd gear on the Z is the strongest, right? They have great top end...the Honda normally launches better tho, with lower gearing and less torque, meaning it hooks better.
wrong a good exhaust and tp really free up the car. The head flows really well so it gets woken up with good breather mods if you do the right ones...not a bunch of fail bolt ons which some people do.

The 350z have always been faster than the S2K and the 370z blows the 350z's especially the HR's which rape even modded S2K out of the water. Also, the reason why the honda can hang is because it's super small and light. I can't comfortably fit into the S but have plenty of room in the Z. Any Honda isn't shit without turbo, too...

Actually, turbo cars heve headers too. They are what leads off of the enging block to the turbo (on a turbo car) and from the block to the exhaust on a n/a car.
The downpipe on a turbo car is from the turbo exhaust outlet to the exhaust.
You were right in the respect that cars usually only have one, unless you are running a larger engine (v6, v8, ect) with a dual exhaust setup. In that case, you have two sets of headers.

Usually by 2-3 cars.....that being said s2ks are slow the s2000 got the jump everytime and was spraying and still was begging to keep up. Just not in the same league little man

That s2k wasnt spraying when the Z was dead even, it sprayed when it whiped the floor with both the GTI and the Z.
However, if you have an HR Z (306hp) compared to the DE Z (286) then yes you will beat a stockish S2K by about 2-3 cars

Either your lying, or they just suck at driving. 06 Z's had 300 hp and 260 tq. Faster then the 03-05's, but slower then the 07+ with 306 hp. It should be a good race for you against an 04+ S2k with equal drivers. If you win, it's not only because you have more power, but because you're a better driver then the people you raced. Try racing someone who can drive and results will change.

@ambientflier Lol what? The 350z only walks an S past 110, but on the 1/4 the s2000 wins. Single exhausts for the s2000 add anywhere from 10-15whp (10 being a cheap option). Thats not the only factor that would cause it to pass the Z, its also the difference in weight from going stock to aftermarket and the fact the most aftermarket single exhaust designs are meant to improve the mid range power band of the F20C motor. 3rd gear, the Z gets passed no problems.
