reminds me of a blazer I built in the late 80s. `74 (full convertable) with `82 front clip, 454, 6+3 lift, 39.5 Mickey Thompsons, repainted that chevrolet dark blue, etc. Dang I miss that truck

man i love your blazer i got me a 87 gmc jimmy full size blazer efi its got 75000 origanal miles on it and i am the second owner of it. its so nice i almost don even know how i got it so cheap. every thing still works on it and i even got the window sticker for it.. plus tons of other stuff for it.. the price was 1400$

Those are 44" Boggers. I have since went to 2.5 Rockwell axles and 48" Firestone AG tires. See some of the newer vids for that.

Hard to say.....Then? Ballpark figure around 7500.00 probably could have taken it out of the shop that day. Which would have been a steal for someone...because this is a rough guestimate in what I had in parts building the Blazer and that doesnt include the small stuff (by small stuff I mean like 200.00 driveshafts or 100.00 1410 yokes or 300.00 Holley Carbs or 150.00 fuel pumps or 400.00 high /cross over steer well you get the idea lol...) or the cost of the truck its self.

I did some shopping around and got the suspension lift on ebay...body lifts run around 125.00. If you were to buy the suspension lift I have..its a Superlift 12`` and will run around 1300.00 for the kit

This summer im going to buy a Chevy or a Dodge 4x4 ext cab and start it as a project truck.

So im going to buy 35 inch tires after i get a lift kit for it.

10 inch lift should clear your 39's you might get away with an 8 inch lift.

I had a 10 inch lift with 39.5 on it and had no problem clearing.
