  • The engines are still too far apart.

  • @dragonbreathstinks :

    No. They are not.

Look the video FUsltuNO6l8 at 7'26".

  • @setechnic This is an exact replica of the podracer.

    wireless-earth.de/private/Models/images/StarWars_Anakins_Pod_Racer.jpg

  • @dragonbreathstinks Just add w w w. to it. Without the spaces

  • @dragonbreathstinks And the h t t p : / /. Once again without spaces. Youtube is stupid and you can't post links in comments.

  • @dragonbreathstinks : I can find many pics where the distance between the 2 engines is bigger. Here is one :

    swg1.net/encyclo/images/podracer-danakin-skywalker.jpg (add 3[w][dot] ;) )

  • @setechnic Yes, but there are way more instances where they are closer together. Like Anakin's house and on the track when his podracer stalls. And that picture I showed you was like a 100% accurate model.

  • @dragonbreathstinks : you believe what you want... ;-)

  • Weird.............................I have Anakin's Podracer right next to me and, well, it does not look like mine and the one I built was from the LEGO compony and mine is shorter, and the engines are WAY closer and the place where he sits is different. Just saying not tring to start a fight or anything.

  • @XXSkaterBeastXX : Obviously it is very different.

The Lego group has to do compromises for the model:

    - not to be too expensive

    - to be strong, so a kid can play with.

  • The engines are too far apart, but still better than what Lego has made. They should get tips from you. lol

  • @dragonbreathstinks : No, I do not think engines are too apart.

  • @setechnic Yes they are. Watch the movie, or look at the game. I'm not trying to start a fight, so yeah.

  • @dragonbreathstinks :

I watch the movies more than you can imagine to do my models.

Look the video FUsltuNO6l8 at 8'57 and 8'58.

The engines are definitely not too far apart.

  • @setechnic Yep, still too far apart. They may have seemed a bit farther apart in that scene you wanted me to look at because they were stretched apart. You can see before Anakin paints the pod and finishes it at his house how far apart the engines are up close.

  • @dragonbreathstinks :

You believe what you want !

My point is that the Lego model is fine regarding the energy blinder.

In the movie, even the size of Ani et Sebulba's engines vary a lot. On the start lane they seems to have more or less the same length. Whereas when they are attached in the end of the last lap, Sebulba's engine are much longer than Ani's engines.

  • @setechnic Ok I'll believe the right thing.

  • say where can I get the song thats playing on this video?

  • @setechnic Really awesome MOC!! Looks great! Just one question, isn't the whole thing just a little too big, because lego's looks smaller?

  • @ethan2tom1emelie3 : Too big compared to what ?

  • This is awsome you should get lego to make them :D

  • @Digitaldiscdrive :

    I'm glad you like it.

My next podracer will be even more awesome... :)

  • @setechnic Sweet, make the pod racer with the circle pod and engines. Sorry i dont know the name, check out my pod race video on my channel, please :)

  • Great! Only one problem, the "Energy binder" or whatever it's called should be pinkish-purple.

  • @B1Studios : Right. But the parts did not exist in the right color.

So, I had to use another color.

  • @setechnic They have the right piece now. It's the Magnaguard staff part.

  • @B1Studios :

This is precisely the part I used. And it is trans-purple, not trans-dark pink.

In reality, on my MOC, it is not as blue as it seems to be in the video and on the photos (see website).

  • @setechnic Oh. I understand now.

  • good job!

  • I remember having one similiar. Probably mixed with houndreds of other lego parts now :<

  • you should make a UCS at-at!

  • @teecee2468 :

It's planned. Like so many other models.

Next summer I will do the video of the UCS 10215, my UCS Slave 1, my UCS Invisible Hand, and maybe another UCS if it is finished. :p

  • @teecee2468 cool! i made a minifigure scale AT-AT and it takes up 25% of my room! im gonna post a video of it i just have to find a better quality camera to get the little details.

  • cool

  • did u make this???

  • @sebhag99 :

No. I bought it on Tatooine. Haha.

    Of course I made it.

  • great moc and it looks fantastic!! one question can one person carry that with pieces falling off coz it has the wires?

  • @26starwars :

    No, it is very fragile.

I have to see if I can improve that. But not sure it is possible...

  • @Stijnwalker :

    Hum... not really.

Actually, it was quite expensive to collect all the parts !

  • ou tu l a achetee et et a kel prix

  • @xvds1 :

  • @shadowgiratina1998 :

  • I don't know exactly. I would say at least 95% of the parts.

But you can resort to bricklink too. :)

  • You have instructions for this set?

  • It will be available soon. :)

When it is ready, I will post a message here.
