@kruznthru2 that's exactly my point. Not only the buttons, but the whole steering wheel and the indicator/wiper stalks are from other way cheaper GM cars (not to mention the hard plastics). GM has been doing this kind of parts "sharing" for years now. This is meant to keep the cost down, not make it $100k. Expensive cars should feel special, and I couldn't justify spending $100k on a car that looks and feels like a malibu inside. Ferrari and Lambo may cost 3x more but they're 20x more refined

@EscapeTheBass 10 and 2 allows quicker recovery inputs and a greater range of recovery...at 12, you couldn't get enough opposite lock to bring back a really bad sideways excursion.

Just constructive criticism: you're grabbing the wheel tightly, and “9 and 3” is an appropriate wheel grip; a seating position closer to the wheel is advantageous too, so you are not reaching and can make smaller inputs with greater accuracy and feel. That's all in case the wheels break loose; you hit a strange patch of road; Just safer practice for high risk driving; would hate to see you or the car get hurt. Again, just constructive criticism.
