The composition was allways tight from Quorthon in all instruments, especially on Blood Fire Death imo, and excluding the debut (Drums =P, could have been better, but the raw quality is just... Charming?)
Ok heres the facts concerning this song, bathory and Venom. Quorthon first heard Venom after their debut. He just listened to some of the songs and once, I don't think he could have copied something out of that, he just got to hear the CD in a studio, he or the band didn't own it even. Born For Burning comes from one of their first songs: Live In Sin. It's a speed-up version from it basically. Bathory got inspired by the atmosphere and feel over other acts after their debut only. Nothing more.
bathory were not influenced by venom, quorthon hadn't even heard of venom before the release of their debut. bathory were influenced by GBH, motörhead and an occasional saxon album. when they wrote this album they were much influenced by exciter. so fuck all this "venom worship" bullshit and bang your fucking head!

well i like rapcore, and rap with rock elements just very very few actual rap ya some of the old ones are good but that is because a lot of the old ones would use guitars they would play together like a real band still. @speedcoregewalt Well seeing as you seem to be one of the few non ignorant people on here who actually try to branch out and like to live in the real world... you should check out open your eyes/4th branch by immortal technique. He has some interesting political opinions. And yea davidkinner, you're right on that one. And honestly... Mainstream is mainstream. Its no different for rap than it is metal... mainstream is full of meaningless bullshit nowadays but the underground is where its at.
