The Lake Shore should flag stop here. The Conductor has to throw the switch because the railroad is downgraded and dumsized for freight service. At this time you can not go Chicago or Cleveland to Vermont or Montreal without stopping over. They broke the connections. And two engines cost the state of Vermont lots to run! The're not needed. I'll be glad when they return to the Greenfield route. You don't go to Palmer unless your in enroute to Boston. Then not even pick up passsengers at Palmer!
