Why be a nurse

Im a male nurse and I hate nursing. Im at the point now I would be willing to take a 20k year pay cut just to have a job that will allow me more balance in my life and more emotional energy to give to my family. Nursing is a horrible profession for anybody male or female. As a nurse you will always have a job and an above average salary but at the cost of your own dignity and self respect. Any body considering it should definately consider something else.

the people that work under you never do what they should,you are always short handed,female nurses love to rat and cat fight 24/7,u will see people die that did not need to die all the time, admin. is all about making money and nothing else, your super. is nothing but a lap dog for admin. i once needed a chest tube stat (ER JOB) and had to fight with the flunk in the store room to bring me one, i had a dialysis tec let a guy bleed half to death while he took a call from his rug cleaning side gig
