In the same sense that if Lou Reed would have never existed, Jules probably wouldn't have written such amazing LPs as ''Is This It'', ''Room on Fire'' and about ten other good songs he's written since.

AND Room On Fire is the Album, there is no song called Room On Fire, and they have WAY more than 10 good songs and if you sont agree then I dont really care to talk to you. I only use youtube for The Strokes, not for people to bitch at me.

@itsbrennabitch18 I wasn't bitching at you, and I didn't say ''Room on Fire'' was a song, I was referring to the fact that he wrote the entirety of the first two albums ''IS THIS IT'' and ''ROOM ON FIRE'', hence the term ''LPs'' which stands for ''Long playing'' as in a full record.

And then I said about 10 songs he's written SINCE their last amazing LP (long playing) Room on Fire. In my personal opinion, ''First Impressions of Earth'' and ''Angles'' are nowhere near as good as their first two.

-Under Cover of Darkness: a little bit of Last Nite and a whole lot of Someday, classic Strokes sound pure and simple.

-Machu Picchu: Amazing but simple guitar riff, vocals are great too.

-Gratisfaction: You can clearly hear the Thin Lizzy guitars, fucking great.

-Taken for a Fool: By far my favorite track, it's simply mind-fucking how good it is. Metabolism is good too.

@kathysoiio these guys are soo repetitive, the drummer has absolutely no talent, he plays the same (or similar) beat for almost every song, the guitarists get stuck on simple riffs that they play throughout the whole song (i.e take it or leave it rhythm guitar riff). The singer's voice doesn't do anything for me it just sounds like hes in terrible pain. the bassist plays either 8th ot 16th notes repetitively, there is simply no creativity. i dont see whats so great about em.
