  • Good stuffs!

  • Very good execution of a somewhat simple technique. Super Smooth!

  • @ZGediting Thanks you so much!

  • I like the music

  • @TheGAHman It's "The Chattanooga Choo Choo" by the Andrew Sisters

  • In this picture I think he cut out 3 elements, the people in the foreground, the person in the background including the ground underneath him and the rest, after you have splitted those three things into different layers you can fix the background in photoshop making it complete, this could be done with cloning and patching. After that you have 3 complete elements that you can place in different layers in after effects at different 3d depth, and thereafter create a camera animation to finish.

  • @Ezeeth It's actually all 3D geometry, no After Effects or any other kind of compositing software was used for the scene itself.

  • @Ezeeth By the way, here is another video I did, which actually was done with simple 2D geometry inside a compositing program. It's on my corporate channel: watch?v=N7COY4fiKeo

  • AWESOME..I was like photos ehh in the begging but then at 0:15 I was like WOW!! AWESOME ..good job! im not sure why im telling you good job cuz i cant even do that lol...im gonan start learning how to work 4d cinema cuz i need it for after effects to make car models and stuff sense i already learned how to use cs5.. but nice vid ima subcirbe!

  • @Goldfish176 Thanks! I'm glad you like it!

  • awesome! ya know i do this with a program thats not meant to do this. i do it by hand! check out some of mine. i watched yours like 10 X. my study gives me inspiration. Thank you.

  • Nice intro !!!!! 10/10

  • I gotta tell you that was absolutely fantastic.

    How did you do it?

  • nice

  • Wow, nice. I have seen this done in movies before but how do they, and you, do it?

  • excellent parallax! That's a great 2.5D animation there!

  • great!

  • Cool

  • thanks dude ur video really helped me out to understand a CSI television series advertise

  • hey , kun je misschien inderdaad een tutorial uploaden (mocht je moeite willen doen) , want dit lijkt mij te gaaf om te kunnen ,:)

    alvast bedankt !

  • pls i am in urgent need of your help. how do you do this stuff? thanks.

  • realy fancy great man

  • great photoshopping! i think im going to do a few pics like this.

  • After effects, its quite simple to do, try Andrew Kramer as he has a tutorial on his AE website to this kind of effect!

  • very cool

  • Algun tutorial?

  • its 2d in 3d space ya fucking moron not just turning a picture. nice work

  • That is cool.

  • dude that was sick

  • beautiful!

  • Tutorial?

awesome job by the way; what did you use?

  • dude im impressed!!!! i love that effect where you go from postcard style seamlessly to 3D. uber nice effect that achieves its goal well from a dramatic standpoint.

  • wow it was cool but freky i liked it you get a fave

  • Good Job do you create your own audio too?

  • Thanks man. Yes I do my own audio too.

  • @plokkum Very nice work! Do you mind what program you use? It looks like Adobe After Effects or maybe Song Vegas Pro 10. Just a guess haha bt those two programs seem to be the popular ones. Thanks!

  • That's looking goo plokkum.

  • Thanks bro!

  • how long did it take for you to make?

  • It took me about an hour

  • could you make a tut.?

  • actually I practically got one done. I'll post a response here when it's edited.

  • well where is this tut?

  • c'mon that was 4 months ago!

  • I'm sorry, I'm up to nose in work. Need to find some time to finalize that tut, but first things first...

  • Very nice job ! what software did you use to accomplish this ?

  • Freeky-Deekey!

  • very nice job - respect !!!

  • yeah for after effects and clone stamp

  • Isn't camera projection ( or camera mapping )just the same as adding textures to 3D geometry ?

    What's the difference ?

  • you can't illunimate camera projections (at least in after effects) and you'll have extreme distortion of you texture once the projection and the camera are not aligned. Adding textures to 3D geometry can be lit by cg lights and sice its on the object itself you won't have the deformation... it's more work to set up though...

  • illunimate = illuminate ;-)

  • Very sweet, but also kinda creepy for some reason! Great combo of music, visual effects, and foley!

  • THATS cool.

  • That was a little creepy, was anyone else a little scared when the 3-D kicked in? lol Nice job

  • nice!

  • Very cool effects + very cool song

  • wow! loads better than any other 2.5d animation i've seen before

  • Awesome. Nice work.

  • nice

  • very cool! How is a 2.5d image produced?

  • pretty cool, reminds me of taking pictures with a stereo camera, you get some really cool things from that

  • Very nice!

  • nicely done :)
