Got a 7" copy of this 1981ish,heard it and loved it,so bought it,dont remember it ever being played on radio though, which was unfortunate, as I feel this song could have done very well had it been aired,I think it should be re-released.
I loved WOP - saw them live about 7 or 8 times. I have recorded on VHS somewhere the concert they did in Hitchin, Herts, that was filmed for BBC2! What a cool band, and this was my favourite song.
Just linked up wid an old buddy of mine who I introduced this track to, he mentioned it and brought back many a cool memory, many of the guys are old buddies of mine, unfortunately lost touch and living in Oz now. Up the Wolves n WOP
i know WOP had there own style, and bloody good might i say,but they remind me a bit of the average white band.incidently why the hell didnt they become a hit in this country, dammed shame people dont appreciate fine music.maybe we should campaign to get them recognition they deserve.
THe band split up and none of their stuff was ever recorded on Cd in uk - some of their records are found in Germany on com cds. This is Mick de souza on vocals and ryth guitar,Clive brown drums, bumpy on keyboards, vince Nelson bass . The lead singer was Linx he does backing on this track . Lead guitar a a guy from Kiddeminster who played with them for a while.

Wicked I grew up listening to this tune in the West Midlands.
Shame this band never made it big. Huge amount of talent!! I really miss them.
