That strike was spot-on. It coiled the prey animal directly around the rib cage. Each time the animal let out some air (screaming, etc), the coils gripped tighter and tighter till its lungs were empty. This brings unconsciousness in seconds, stopping the heart in just over a minute.

This is in no way, shape or form cruelty. The snake has to eat. The rabbit wasn't being beaten, mistreated, kept in poor conditions, or abused in anyway by the snake owner. It was simply breed, raised and purchased as food for a predator. Recording it and posting it on youtube can serve its purpose of being at the least educational. I've never seen a constrictor kill and eat its prey before. I always missed feeding time at my high school when my teacher would feed her Boas the live mice she bred
