I agree with Hitchens on the support of U.S and Israel foreign policy against terroists. However, Hitchens never admits to our wrongs. This is just the opposite of Noam Chomsky who treats everything we do as bad. Hitchens treats everything we do as good. It is not that simple. It is mixed up. Neither of these intellectuals admit to the wrongs by the sides that they are supporting.
One of the things that makes me happiest is when people compare my style of debate to Christopher Hitchens. Of course they are mistaken to make the comparison, I simply have a similar voice and mannerisms, but to be a 1/5th the intellect of this man would be an honour.

Hitchens is a war mongering dick... with an itchy prick, apparently.
It's amazing that he's slagging off on GWB, after backing his war on Iraq to the hilt. For such an "intellectual", he sure can't apply that intellect to make good choices in life, either for his slovenly, alcoholic, former Trotskyite self, or in matters of global affairs. Just because he has daddy issues doesn't give his feelings about religion greater weight than any other person.

Hitchens, the ultimate "crusader". The sole crusader AGAINST organised Religion.
Ironically, With his antagonism towards ALL religions, Hitchens may actually bring about world peace, probably because all organised religions view him as the sole threat to their authority, thereby forcing themselves to turn against him instead of each other, at least for a moment anyway.
Give him the Nobel Peace Prize .

The nobel prize for literature is a joke too.
If somehow (God willing...) Hitchens would win a Nobe Prize, I like to think he'd refuse it like Sartre did.

The best part about when Kissinger got it for negotiating 'peace' in Vietnam was that his Vietnamese co-laureate Le Duc Tho refused it on the grounds that there was no peace in Vietnam.
