Um. No. Everyone hates it because Microsoft is FORCING you to upgrade to it. They're making drivers for hardware ONLY in Vista. You can't buy a new computer WITHOUT Vista on it anymore (off the shelf). It takes at least 1GB ram and a damn good video card to pull off vista. I remember loading XP on a 600mHz CPU with 128mb of ram. There's NO comparison. Vista is LOADED with bullshit.

Hardware drivers are written by hardware manufacturers. Plus, drivers support XP for now more than Vista. Vista driver support is terrible.

Computers with XP are being sold EVERYWHERE. Plus, you can buy systems with no OS, Linux, or Mac OS.

You need only a cheapo integrated video card to run Vista.
