Kerry Ellis was amazing in Wicked! I was so glad and so very lucky that I got to see her live in performance when I was in New York! She has a powerful and lovely voice, I really loved her performance!
As for Idina, I did buy the soundtrack, and I have to admit, that I really like her too. I think that they're both really talented singers. :D
I disagree. I think Idina's version is bland. I love Idina as a singer, I love her album. I just don't like her a a Broadwaystar. I AM gratefull to her for creating Elphie and Maureen. But still, she's just not IT for me (:

I loved the WiR defying gravity, but this doesn't really do it for me...they could have made a really good rock version out of 'as long as you're mine'...or wizard and I...:/ dun like this.
I prefer this to the musical... The musical version was always my least favorite song in the show, I prefer the more dramatic numbers like No-one Mourns The Wicked and No Good Deed etc, but I really loved this version!
No one compares to Idina, in my opinion, but Kerry is DAMN amazing!

the unmistakable footprint of Brian May has turned a good song into a great song and with Kerry Ellis vocals it sounds even better
