  • that car is so bad ass . I gotta say I rank this car way up there with the elite for sure .

  • @Mcleod0000 I hear ya!! I think it's the meanest looking "movie car" ever.

  • did Mel Gibson use them in mad Max series ??

  • @aeiou772 Sure did, it was the main car Mel Gibson drove in Mad Max 2

  • Very well done :)

  • Kill the shit music

  • Wow...extremely nice work! I can appreciate the effort, the detail is amazing.

  • Amazing job, XM170. I love this legendary car...dirt and all. Your attention to detail is superior. Salute.

  • Very cool job on those, the detail is awesome!

  • i dig your into it this much .....very nice job........That's dedication! (a guy from film).

  • Wow, really nice job. You should enter them in a contest. I especially like how realistically dirty everything looks - you got the colors spot on. Doing that is an art in itself and makes all the difference. Reminds me that video games will never look convincingly realistic until they can replicate the chaos of filth in nature.

  • @dewfall56 Hey thanks man, building the interceptor all shiney and clean just wouldn't be right!! lol

  • @XM170 Well that's what everybody else does, this is a refreshing change - looks incredible. At a glance, it would be easy to mistake it for a real full sized car.

  • Love Madmax

  • warriors car ?

  • it looks like the car of the movie

    Back To The Future

  • kin awesome mate

  • They are gas tanks, it makes a whole lot more sense if you have seen the movie " Mad Max-The Road warrior"

  • Those big tubes in the back where the trunk once was, what were they supposed to be ? Are they rocket boosters or just tanks for extra gasoline ?

  • HA HA HAH iM THOUGHT THEY WERE REAL?

  • who originally made these cars?

  • @296jayce These models were build by myself. The model kit I used was made by Japanese company, Aoshima.

  • Comment removed

  • @296jayce what were these cars originally tho?

  • @296jayce Originally a 1974 Ford Falcon hardtop

  • @XM170 oh o.k. thanks :)

  • @XM170 It was originally a 73 XB GT. Great job with the models!

    @OrderoftheHammer

    Tanks, extra fuel.

  • @XM170 shoulda been a 73.

  • these were made by revell?? cuz i cant find a model of this

  • @crashandcynder

No, Made by Japanese company AOSHIMA. Probably won't find one easily, been out of production for a few years.

  • cool car

  • haha for the most time i tough it was real :D nice!

  • Haha dingo dog food

  • Whats the things in the trunk??

  • @lop3z1000 They are fuel tanks

  • Your detail is impeccable. I've personally tried to make models half as good as this but i don't have the patience necessary for painting them. I admire your craftsmanship. Thank you for posting.

  • you sir are a great artist. how much for these works of art?

  • @RazorUltraPro11

Thank you my Friend. PM sent

  • @XM170 IMPRESSIVE!

  • i don't get it

  • These are good and all, don't get me wrong... But could you put scale model in title or desc.?

  • @hunterziegelmann Mentioned twice in description. Thanks for the comment

  • @hunterziegelmann title a little misleading, not what I was expecting but amaizing work! and it is in desc 2 times.

  • the Interceptors r custom cars there not made in the u.s at least thts what i heard

  • @crashandcynder yes, only Ausi had intercpotrs on their roads, none were made or sold in US

a shame indeed for the car seems rahter good beast. one many would like to have. though maybe the fact its so rare is a bliss. just like Shelby Mustang. it is exclusive and that might just be a good thing

  • @lucasrenitif they look like 73 mustangs with a custom front thts wat i thought it was

  • @crashandcynder

The Interceptor was actually a 1976 Ford Falcon GT Coupe- Google it, they do look very similar to a 73 Mustang fastback.- The 73 Stang was definately used as inspiration for the design(hoods are almost identical!!)

The interceptor was powered by a 351cu.in. "cleveland" V8, ford "top loader" 4 speed gearbox and a 9' diff

  • Nice scale models

  • nice modeling bud !!!

  • lol i thought they were actual cars and then i looked closer and was like hey this shit is fuckn fake ...then i read the description and felt like a dumb ass hahaha

  • Small car. not a real 1

  • Really nice, mate - I'm very curious what model you originally started with, i.e. the basic XB shell - I've got an XB coupe (check out my channel) not maxxed and was thinking about building a model version for the mantlepiece so yeh, would be curious to know what you started with..

  • u got some bad ass modles

  • dude this is epic have u ever done zombie survival cars like armor on the windows and guns mounted on them?

  • @crashandcynder No I haven't Currently building a couple of "mad max" inspiered models though-keep a look out for the vids!

  • @XM170 u should try em there fun iv done a 49 merc and 70 charger u should look at damncranky666s cars

  • @crashandcynder umm, your fucking meathead music sucks ass, idiot.

  • @infosecmgr1 what r u talkin about???

  • @infosecmgr1 Hey thanks asshole! your opinion counts for fuck all! Go smoke another pork cigar!!

  • @XM170 lol. actualy no ROFLMAO

  • out of curiousity , whats the scale of the models? 1/32 maybe?

  • @JarottM No, the are 1:25 scale.

  • I wouoldnt want your crap

  • Work and make the difference Aussie shit is the best

  • wtf! i thought that was a damn real car until 1 min into the vid! props thats good build quality

  • @fightcooperation1

Hey thanks asshole. Don't be angry at me because your mother had a one night stand and fell pregnant with you. TROLL BITCH

  • @XM170

those cars are sweet, awesome, how long did it take you to make em? i make scale model airplanes and cars myself.

i got a website you should check out, a few actually you may like them! ill send ya a pm.

  • @XM170 HAHAHAHA troll bitch!!!

  • @fightcooperation1

    Jesus loves you little child.

  • @fightcooperation1 its a model call not a toy you fucking child,, if you were old enough you would know the difference maybe in a few years your mommy will buy you a couple when she doesnt have to worry about you choking on the pieces

  • @Auszug21 Well said friend, well said.

  • @XM170 awesome work dude i wish i could get this good to put in details like that but god saw fit to curse me with unsteady hands so only so so models and real cars for me but still i enjoy it.

  • @Auszug21 Thank you for the kind words friend. Practice is the key for inice models. I've been building for around 17 years now, you just keep fine tuning your skills as you go!!

  • @fightcooperation1 I got two words: Bloody and retard.

  • I actually thought it was real

  • Even if a Ferrari was parked next to your Interceptor, I would still take picture and give more time to enjoy the view of your "last of the" V8 Interceptor than that damn "civilan" Ferrari. Mad Max FTW!

  • @hanchiman HAHAHA, Thanks man, much appreciated. I feel the same way as you.

  • @XM170 They're nice dude, you could do with making a stop motion film with them or something... just a thought.

  • @XM170

After three weeks, now that I am re-watching this video, I just realised its a model (no wonder why you were amused). I am kinda surprised that it look so real... and I thought it was a real car.. haha. Anyways still nice, wish I could find this model as well (I got a Max Rockatansky model statue at home).

  • So you must be happy about Mad Max: Fury Road . Over 200 vehicles will be on location at Silverton, South Wales, Australia (same red-dirt roads as the previous movies). Very little CGI, good old stunts. Late 2012 release.

  • you built those? fuckin flawless.

  • @RazorUltraPro11

Haha, thanks for the comment, yep, I built them, from the Aoshima Interceptor kit.

  • Nice Job Man. Thanks for shareing.

  • What scale are these models?

    If they're 1:32 scale, there's a huge market for a scalextric version.

    I'd buy one.

  • @paspax They are 1:25 scale

  • amazing models!

  • @ObiAzagthoth

I know bud, how flogged is "Bodies" now?

  • Nice work my friend!

  • @GRwarrior77

    Why, thank you, much appreciated.

  • plastic... jaja

  • genialito

  • this car looks so cool when it's dirty

  • Awsome! I have the same kit, it took many hours of stop frame video to produce the correct interior...along with photos of the original movie car. The only thing is the kit was so bloody basic...almost madening. I scratch built 60% of this car.
