I just picked up a lefty Stag myself and had an oportunity to shoot it. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! I loved it! The only draw back was when I wanted to buy a 22lr conversion kit. I invested a lot of time researching when I suddenly realized, they don't make 22lr conversion kits for us. Did you buy an extra left bolt/ firing pin assembly?
I have a DMS-1 in an American Defense Recon mount on a flat top ADS Alpha AR-15. With that scope and mount, there is just enough room for an ARMS 40L BUIS. Over all its a good optic and I like it and will recommend it. Keep in mind that it is a marksman's optic that has CQB capabilities, and not a CQB scope that can me used at longer ranges. Its large, heavy, and does need to be focused for your eye like a normal scope, so it isn't the best up close, but it will work and is of good quality.

what are your thoughts on the scope?

And the point was?
I believe people were expecting something that had to do with the scope and not just shoot up a magazine.

How good is the 1x? Is there still some kind of magnification or is it a somewhat true 1x? Looking into 1-4x red dot scopes for my stag M3L.

As a lefty, I thought I had died and gone to heaven when STAG came out with the left handed ARs. I love not having brass fly in my face.

Any issues with that scope yet? Want to get one but not a 100% sure yet.
Is that the LaRue mount?
