i was melosted by 2 of my cousins 1st was between 7-10 and my 2nd was 14-15..i just tld my parents when i turned 19 yrs im 20 now...i told my closest friends immediatly after they tld me not to..they all hate my cousins now and i still havent filed melostation report on them...but on the plus side ever since i was molested i havent let it effect me. but i do get pissed everytime i hear on the news that a child was melosted or raped and mudered. and i also tell warn everyone bout them two

Jeez...this is sad dude. Personally I have no problem offering therapy to pedophiles who have never molested children...but once you cross the line and touch a kid, you die (or at LEAST go to prison for life with absolutely no possibility for parole EVER, preferably in gen pop with no guards around) Offering "rehabilitation" to a "person" who has actually molested an innocent kid is both risky and insulting to the child he or she hurt. A dead molester can never again molest.

K, this is great victim awareness, but the problem will NEVER go away until we offer REAL therapy to the abusers, and pedophilia is de-stigmatized so that pedophiles can come and go to their therapy without having death threats shouted at them, and so that money allocaters like politicians will be able to give funding to this. "Therapy" currently for pedophiles DOES NOT WORK. The cycle continues until money and research are dedicated to this problem. THIS IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILDREN!

For me your heart for these children is a sign that God is real and inside you. I can feel your passion and sadness you feel for these kids. Truth is it can be prevented. People can be pro-active and be educated. Sad part is that not enough people are learning how to rpevent this. There is 200 views on this and Protect Children Inc has received one request for the prevention guidelines. That is a problem. God allows free-will to choose good or bad, or else we would all be puppets. Peace to you

One thing I dont expect to hear is obama making an effort to help these children, I gues he has done his part by taking abortion to a new level. Yes, I agree that it is our government's responsibility to allocate funding for research that will help treat pedophiles. The current "therapy" does not work, and people need to realize that this problem will NEVER be solved by simply prevent local abuse. The root cause, the pedophiles themselves, must be treated. However, President Obama has not done anything to abortion. It remains just as legal now as it did during the last eight years, and rightfully so.
