Yeah, I dont know. I remember seeing Warlock live in Germany in the early 80's at a club called "the rock palast" in Wurzburg Germany( Was stationed in Kitzegen for 3 years ). Personally, I was not impressed then, and am even less impressed now. Neither was I personally impressed with Lita Ford ( but I do like "close my eyes forever" a lot).

I can think of other female performers of the era that performed better. Joan Jett, Pat Benetar, or either sister of heart . . . list goes on

I also am an American, but in my opinion most of the top metal acts have come from outside the USA. In fact, Germany has produced a few of the best ones in Doro Pesch, Rammstein, Accept and the Scorpions to name a few.

Yeah, I think she is classified under "pop metal". At one point, she was like the Danika Patrick of rock. A nice looking blonde who played a BC Rich. She got credit just for that. When she hooked up with Ozzy, that gave her a little more street cred. But it quickly vanished. At one point, the quit the metal scene all together, got married, squeezed out some kids, and was doing the "mom" thing. She's trying a comeback, but we'll see. Doro has been rocking the whole time.
