  • Damn I miss G's in DCI. My all-age corps- Cincinnati Tradition- is quite possibly the last marching corps to still use G's.

  • @DrumlineGuru Nope, a few senior corps still use them.

  • @kevinbs05 there are senior corps in DCI? i thought that was only DCA? lol

  • @F0RCEGFX Valid point he did say just DCI.

  • 2 jr corps still use g horns, though they're smaller open class corps

  • f*%^.

this destroys the tuning argument. watch this then watch cavies 04 parade. Bbs sound like muffled pieces of crap. Gs were open, resonant, and full of overtunes. Chock full of awesomeness

  • my band director Josh Hurt was in '02 Scouts!

  • AHHHH G bugles rule.

  • these are g's?

  • I believe so. I posted that like a year ago and I must've found out--I usually don't post stuff unless I know for sure.

  • Yep these were G's. B-flat's didn't become mainstay until 2003.

  • Madison went to multi-key in 2004.

  • I meant in general for all corps

  • The fourth of july. An excuse for morons to set of cherry bombs at 2:30 in the morning!

  • sweet post, wish you were infront for the last piece :(

  • I'll always miss those uniforms. It was cool when ol' boy wandered around the field in one during the alumni project. Gotta love fixing things that aren't broke.

  • thanks a lot for posting this. i was in that snareline and that was a fun parade! never knew vid of this existed.

  • dude, you cut right before a solo
